Deuk Pal has straight up adopted Jaemin. Like he had such "I am not angry, just disappointed" dad face when Jaemin was making a seen in the cafe.

CSK is the ML/Seme of the novel. Here they have a bromance.

He is still an unrepentent bully, but he does seem like a sweet baby when whacked a few times. He is like those old tvs, they always needed a few good slaps to get them working properly.

There was nothing about the Sekyung wanted to gut Jaemin for asking to stay at Yiheon's house.

There is absolutely the BL element. Like it's "bromancified" SO FAR (people here really be expecting NCs in ep1) but it is absolutely a BL. I think they probably toned down the bl and/or are planning to make it a plot twist surprise. Or maybe they are hoping for a sequel since it has only 8 episodes (on record) and the story has barely just begun.

The best friend is his love interest in the novel. He is not simple, he is cunning and manipulative. The reason he is so hot and cold is because he liked Yiheon, but his dad is abusive and homophobic, and the reason Yiheon was being bullied was because he was gay and "stalking" a "straight" male classmate (he isn't stalking CSK, he has a crush on him).

And CSK was scared that if he defended Yiheon, it would get back to his dad that he was protecting a homosexual, but at the same time he also felt guilty that he couldn't do anything to protect him.

So, when the gangster shows up, he is kinda happy that Yiheon can now fight back to his bullies, but also scared because what happened to the REAL Yiheon (the guy he likes)?

Jaehyun lived in Chicago before debut

Woo Taemin. He is the ML of You Make Me Dance (BL) as well as 2nd lead in Unintentional Love Story. His own ULS spin-off, Forever Love, is currently shooting.

He was the gang leader, so he kinda has experience with kids from bad families/situations ending up as criminals. I feel like his own story is similar to Jaemin's (poor family, bad situations, had to leave school and work with criminals to survive etc) that's why he is so protective of Yiheon, but at the same time he also wants to correct and guide Jaemin to lead a better life

I did watch the special cut. The series is so forgettable that I forgot. So I watched it. Then I was like oh, yeah, I watched and forgot, so I watched again. Then forgot again, until u reminded me just now.

ZeeSaint did one bl, then Saint went bts and Zee now has a new pairing with Nunew and they are even dating apparently. So, them being one of the hottest bl couples is a blantant lie.

Saint had more chemistry with Perth is the opening credits of LBC than he did with Zee in the entire WRU. They would have given others like the current leaders a run for their money had their teams not effed it up back then.

What u said about Zee being Saint's fanboy wasnt wrong though. Zee helped Saint get back into the picture after all that crap, but chemistry. No, they were cute "brothers" offscreen but they were a good onscreen couple.

Did u not watch earlier episodes? In the last conversation they had before his suicide, Yiheon, as a last resort, threatens to expose SeKyung's REAL nature/ personality.

While there are many theories about it, like even the gangster thinks SeKyung's REAL personality is that he is an asshole (unlike the soft-spoken, sweet, helpful, gentle class president persona he projects), personally I have feeling that Yiheon was trying to blackmail CSK about his sexuality.

Remember the novel is a bl, and Yiheon was being bullied for being the stalker of a male classmate, aka Yiheon was a specifically a victim of homophobic bullying. So, I feel like Yiheon somehow found that Sekyung is also gay and/or threatened to spread rumours (just like Jaemin spread about him) and CSK told him to go kill himself.

Gangster is not his father. Yiheon is the illegitimate, and the only, son of one of the top-most businessmen in the country, the Chairman of OK Construction, and his mistress (who is a former actress). It was told in ep 1.

The (illegitimate) pregnancy forced the actress to retire and live in hiding. So, she has taken to drinking (she yells at Yiheon about how he ruined her life by being born, like lady u fucked a married man and got pregnant, and u blame the child that was born from your actions).

The Chairman's wife (legal wife) is dying. Chairman presumably has only daughters from his official marriage, so as the only male child, even if he is illegitmate, Yiheon is most likely the next successor. And his mom (the mistress) is in running to be next legal wife, if the old one should die (think of it as a ancient harem drama).

The vamp, secretary Lee Mi Kyung (who hired the thugs in ep 3) is one of Chairman's other mistress who is trying to compete with Yiheon's mother as the next wife of the Chairman. That's why she is trying to get rid of them both.

Gangster is just a sweetheart who is very protective of the body is he living in. I have a theory about that (as I wrote last week).
