the original web novel was about same sex love. they removed bl element and made it as bromance. this is the reason…
Which could also explain why he is so protective of Yi Heon. He wants to give him a life that he himself couldn't have (go to school/college, have friends, have a boyfriend maybe). Also, personally it makes that they toned down the bl aspect in a way. Both kids are closeted. So, Yiheon assuming that Se Kyung is straight and wanting to be "just friends" makes complete sense, esp if his shelf-esteem is shot to shit. He is happy watching from afar, but now he cant even have that luxury.
Meanwhile Sekyung is terrified of his dad. And being gay is probably a huge no-no for an "upstanding prosecutor's son". So even a hint of anything more than casual classmate-ship would be seen as rebellious behaviour and punished accordingly.

Bromance is as good as Untamed. There are implications about YinHeon being gay and I have a feeling that even Deuk Pal is gay. I mean that subordinate just got so upset at the idea thay KDP might have an son in ep 2, like Boss wasnt married. U dont need marriage to have a child, u need a woman (for sex).
The fact that the subordinate didn't even pause to think that his boss, a 50yr old man, might have slept with at least one woman in the last 20-odd years (since YiHeon is around 18/19), makes it seem like he never slept with women at all. Besides, homosexuality in mafia is more of DADT, so it makes sense if he was never Out, but it was open secret to his close underlings.
It seems kids these days have lost the ability to both understand a joke/sarcasm AND use google/ weibo/bing/whatever to look up any pop culture references that they don't get. Makes me feel fucking ancient.
That said, I know who you are talking about - one lone warrior with 50 shadow accounts - and like I told her in that comment thread, her existence matters as much to me as a tick on a dog.
I’ve been seeing a lot of comments on casting a rapist, can you tell me which one? Name and shame because I’m…
The old guy who plays Deuk Pal's boss. He was involved in casting couch some 20ish years ago (2001-2002 ish). He was banned for a while but has been working consistently since like 2008.
Lee Kyoung Young - the old guy who played Deuk Pal's boss, the Chulsin head. He was involved in a casting couch…
Chk that guy's filmography. Then go to comment sections of those dramas. Find me the ones where the drama was boycotted or downrated because of this one guy.
Who in the cast is a rapist?? this comment section is giving me a headache!! I understand that the og novel was…
Lee Kyoung Young - the old guy who played Deuk Pal's boss, the Chulsin head. He was involved in a casting couch scenario some 20ish years back and the actress was 17-18 (a minor). He was banned for a while back then, but has been more or less consistently working in many high profile productions since.
Not saying he doesn't deserve hate, but people are going after this drama like they are paid. They don't wanna go after big productions or stars that work with him, so they are targetting a small production.
I'm losing my mind here, so please bear with me. I am looking for missing Daisy and Intouch scenes. I was watching the uncut version on youtube (just coz) and I remember it having lot more Daisy and P'Touch interactions when I first saw it (while airing). I don't remember if I saw them in the actual drama (they are not there NOW, but it's not the first a drama gets edited/censored after airing) or if they were a part of the deleted scenes compilation (I can't find it either)
The scenes I'm looking for are :-
- Nuea confronts Touch about his "target" at the camp. After Touch refutes Toh, he thinks it's Jao and gets offended on Sky's behalf. Touch basically does "😕😒 not him either 🤷" This takes place before the bathroom scene (where Daisy is hinted as Touch's partner)
- Another which takes place at the camp. Touch flirts with Daisy and tries to "recruit" her into wall building(?) team over bench painting. This takes place after the bathroom scene and is the first scene where Touch officially starts hitting on Daisy.
- I don't remember when this takes place but it's towards the middle (could be in the camp or immediately afterwards). Touch is talking to someone (his friend/Som's future boyfriend, I think) about why he likes Daisy and he basically says he fell in love at first sight with her because she is the cutest thing ever. Like "I always liked pretty things and it can't get any prettier than her (or something to this effect)". Basically, Touch is a facecon who has been crushing on "pretty girl Daisy" since the beginning.
- Takes place after the fun fair scene. Ep 11, I think (after Touch asked Daisy out). She makes a handjob gesture with her hand (that Som makes fun of) but she is actually talking about draining noodles (at the fair).
- Daisy meets Touch's friends and gets humiliated. Touch defends her and almost fights with his friends. Afterwards, she starts acting like a man (to not embarrass Touch anymore).
I think the last 2 are still in drama, but I remember them being more in-depth. Please tell me I'm not crazy, and these scenes actually do exist.
Angst isn't for everyone, though I wouldn't be so hung up on ratings since they're not that accurate. Plus, it's…
I have never really cared for ratings. They are highly skewed, eap since quite a lot of fans start rating the drama as 10/10 even before it airs and then the ratings drop as the the show progresses. Sometimes, it's the other way round
I always read the lowest rated reviews, becaue the reasons for low rating are different and u know what to watch out for
To those who doesnt understand the movie.I will explain it here.Spoilers ahead!!!!Lin Bei Xing in this movie is…
The original universe of LBX is actually the third universe she travelled to, since in 2 other universes he died - the one where she got dumped in the beginning, or the 2nd universe (where the main drama takes place).
She travelled back after ZWS died the first time, then travelled again to save him the final time.
She decided to stay forever in the third universe the one where ZWS found her time travelling diary in school. The LBX at the end of the drama is not LBX of the third universe, but the traveller.
ep 8. fl is always jumping to conclusions, it's getting annoying & frustrating. i get it, she's worried about…
As an adult, she was neither mature nor rational. She was obssessed with the popular guy who dated her because she looked easy (and naive) and then acted like an obssessed teenager until he cheated on her with her best friend and dumped her before the wedding. She was acting like she never left the high school, at least mentally, until she got slapped in the face with reality of her fiance cheating.
Her acting like an idiot in the past is perfectly in character for her.
The coach is extremely irritating to me, the fact he doesn't know anything about the sport just takes me out of…
Thanks for saying this. The coach reminds me of my dad - and NOT in a good way. He is basically "act first, think later. If it succeeds, it's my credit, but if it goes wrong, it's your fault" mentality.
He thinks everyone, but especially the female coach, was beneath him and refused to take her advice. When the team got disqualified, he blamed it on the other coach (for entering the wrong category). When he the team got humiliated he blamed it on lack of teamwork and equipments even though he himself had no idea of the rules. The team got trashed because he didn't train them - like telling them a move and then effing off while the kids trained like wild animals, figuring shit out by themselves. But when the team won over the football team, he was right up there to take all the credit.
He has no accountability for anything and the only he is coasting because he keeps getting unncessary chances to ruin good players.
i was planning on starting this. does the romance really ruin the storyline???
6 episodes in and the romance is more of annoying unpopular girl following the ML while SML crushes on her, but the guys have more intimacy with each other. Y'know, your typical love triangle.
Not everything has to be a thriller or bromance. There is a lot of thrillers and bromances cdramas, obviously…
I agrer but bromance doesn't always have to have romantic connotations. It can also mean putting your partner above everything else.
Personally I would classify buddy cop dramas and movies - Bad Boys, MiB, White Collar, Supernatural, Psych, pretty much whole of 2000-2015 filmography of USA network - as bromance. They were shippers' heaven, but the actual show had nothing of the sort except amazing chemistry between actors who are supposed to have each other's backs in life and death situations.
That, of course, would'nt work for this drama because they are enemies for most the drama, so their chemistry has to be awkward when they finally start working together. Of course, if they ever make a sequel, I would look forward to the bromance.
