3 sisters, parents haven't made an appearance or been mentioned that I recall
Heesu's parents made an appearence in a family photo in the first couple chapters (I just started the webtoon again). I guess they are like Disney parents. They are around but we don't talk about them. And considering his sisters are all in their late 20s, early 30s, it proably makes sense that they aren't seen much. Maybe they live somewhere else and Heesu stays with his noonas.
I feel like people have forgotten that there's FOUR MAIN LEADS.Those being: Hee Su, Seung Won. Wanna say it with…
I'm not. I was planning to wait until it finished airing, but looking at the changes, I don't feel like watching it all. I am reading the manhwa again.
I haven't started yet and after reading the summary and comments Idon't even feel like watching. The best part of the webtoon is the relation between Chanyoung and Heesu. I was pretty upset that Chanyoung didn't end up with anyone. I am re-reading it rn, and I really ship Chanyoung with both Hanseoul and Jiyu lmao.
My fav part of this drama comes at 1:23:something (when WangXian starts playing. Yes, it has WangXian in the soundtrack) when the both actor's being romantic leads truly comes through. It's such a charged scene, that if the actor's had lesser talent, or were even slightly uncomfortable with emotional scenes, then it would have fallen flat. That one scene alone elevated the whole drama.
Also, special mention for the guy who played Yanli (Zhou Hen Yu) who plays a sparkly eyed 16yr old in the flashbacks and a haunted/disillusioned 30-something in the present. The guy actually FEELS like 2 different people.

I was gonna say youtube, but apparently they removed it. GMMTV is seriously making the worst decisions.
who knows...they have taken down a lot of shows from international yt. I wanted to watch 1000 Stars but it isn't available, neither is Boss and a Babe. These are the ones I can think of rn, but they have taken down others as well.
Am I the only one who really didn't feel the ending? I mean somkid being the bad guy was foreseeable from the…
I'm with you. I got so mad at the ending, like grandpa was 110% at fault. Home and Home's dad were both irresponsible assholes, so what does he do? Gives them everything while the "responsible and good" child gets taken for granted and treated like a servant. I know how he felt in that moment, because I have been that child. But I walked away and distanced myself, not physically but emotionally.
I told them I would be there if they needed me (like a good servant) but they weren't FAMILY, and I didn't want anything from them (I take enough for living expenses, because servants don't work for free), but I'm done going above and beyond. The only people I actually care about are my sister and my mom (to an extent). It was the freest I ever felt, like a burden had been lifted. Believe it or not, I even stopped being depressed all the time.
When that end happened, I wanted nothing more than to shake Somkid and tell to stop wasting his time wishing for validation that wasn't gonna come, (killing Home and his friends won't solve his issues, and neither will the inheritance) and just fuxking leave. He was smart, talented, more than capable of starting his anew. Leave that cesspool behind. But he was the bad guy, and "sweet grandpa" was the Nice Guy... Ruined the show for me, tbh. I fastforwarded to the end, saw the whole group together and turned off the tv.
There is a tag saying it is from a true story, so Jin Chun's death is real one? However, I truly enjoyed this…
The cases are inspired by true events. The characters and circumstances are fictitious. Most procedural dramas in general take their cases from real incidents.
I did watch Two Worlds and I agree the parallel worlds was done very well. It's my favourite series from MaxNat
I am actually not very fond of MaxNat (the age gap is big turnoff considering how young Nat actually is) so I kept missing this one. I only watched it because I had nothing else to watch, and it's just so good. I loved it inspite of MaxNat, but they did win me over.
Is it just me, or did you guys also feel like this series in general could have been better? I love MaxNat to…
I dont understand why anyone would want to find logic in a fantasy drama. It's like finding logic in The Hobbit or Game of Thrones. As long as the characters and the laws act true to world they are in, then it's logical to that world.
Also, just because the actors get typecast in certain roles doesn't mean they aren't suited for other roles. Personally, I have always hated MaxNat's filmography, but this drama absolutely floored me. They were so good here.
I haven't seen this one, but I would recommend "MaxNat's Two Worlds" as the parallel universe done right. The cut version is available on Channel 31's youtube, but the uncut on Iqiyi is way better. I'm not just talking about the acting, the story is pretty tightly written (very few loopholes, if any). It's currently one of my top 5 bls of all time.
Practically the same plot as “Out of Control Starlight”. Difference: The actors in this one are far more handsome…
there is apparently one more adaptation with the same plot, but I can't find it anywhere. If you were come across it again, please bump here. I'll do the same

Edit: Rented in Finland
