They have a very class clown/girl crush dynamic going on. I think they are cute together but I really hope they dont shove a love plot in the drama. Their flirty friendship dynamic is perfect as is, romance isnt needed at all.

I see the twin-spirits as two sides of the same coin more than split personality. QYR was probably active DID so she could kill the "good" twin, but Qian and Yan were successfully coexisting in the same body. Also, I have a feeling that Yan is the actual host and Qian is his split. I also think that the reason Yan stabbed Huzi was because he is being fed lies by the sister. She could have told him that Qian is being manipulated/brainwashed by a demon, so he stabbed HuZi because (a) he is mad at Qian for moving on and making a new friend and he hates him 😡😡and (b) to kill the demon that is hurting his brother.

Honestly, I'm loving Yan more than XX. I mean XX is Ice Cube but Yan is uwu-boy. He only hates Qian because he was tricked into the mirror by Granny after being framed by QYR. Personally, I feel like Granny is sus af, and the only reason she supports good twins is because they are easy to manipulate. She hates QYR because she is too headstrong (and an evil b-tch, but that's different) and she hates Yan because he is too close with and protective of Qian. Without Yan, Qian had to depend on her for everything.

FYM is probably in love with her "master" (I am guessing Black Tiger King/Hu Zi's dad, coz the poster has Black Tiger but his mom is white) and is obsessed with resurrecting him.

I dig the sister, she is shamelessly evil twin but the girl can dance. The duel fire and lightening swords 😘😘 but FYM is annoying and boring. She needs to go.

My fav bit so far has to be them painting that chicken lmao. That whole scene was a skit of "how would they know" meme and it was amazing. Him already walking around with that paint box and Brick just doing what he tells without question. I also like that Hu Zi flirts with Xintong (and Xintong sorta flirts back) but she doesn't get all weird and jealous when Hu Zi looks at other girls, and Hu Zi isnt really apologetic or weird about it.

The love martyr is isnt a new thing. Bazillion stories out there where the woman is constantly abused by her husband/partner/lover but always forgives him because ~true love~ this is a bl with same plot.

Making one of them a female, wont make a difference because then it will be literally any other het c-drama. The only difference here is the MC died before they could work things out.

Hell, if they make a straight drama where the abused wife leaves her abusive husband of 10 years and stays away even after he comes begging, it will more revolutionary than them adaptating this faithfully.
