can someone spoil me from the novel about those smiley sad faces and Pran's character?
The smiley sad faces aren't in the novel and are added for the drama. The novel is too short so P Aof modified the story to be more romantic with symbolisms like that. The upcoming plotline with the Love Bet isn't in the novel either.
Was looking forward to the series starting as them already secretly friends so was a bit disappointed to find…
To be honest the "friend" factor is overblown in the promos. I don't think Pat and Pran ever go through being platonic friends. They just fo from "its complicated" to "madly in love with each other"
Like other GMMTV shows, it does not focus more on a quality story but rather only after how the audience wanted…
Not for this one. The character development for Pat and Pran will be different. The story is very character driven and P'Aof has hinted that he really pushed the boys acting skills to deliver since it does get complex.
I think the first half will do be a bit on the silly and fun side but this drama will get intense real fast once they begin dating.
Also if rumors are right, only episodes 1-3 are featured in the trailer. The cast have mentioned how it barely scratched the surface and there's so much not included.
The director said this drama has a lot of romantic scenes. Be prepared.
Nanon struggled at first to get the mood right apparently, and the director wasnt satisfied so he had to eventually resort to method acting to really absorb Pran's character.
the recommended film indicates this series will only have romantic feelings nothing else. i am afraid now.
Don't worry, I've read the novel. It gets super romantic from the middle because the 2 leads genuinely fall in love. Literally Romeo and Juliet but BL.
I think they have a pretty strong professional relationship, never seen Liang Jie being this level of precise…
Exactly! Also I think one of the most interesting things about this drama is how their chemistry builds up as the story goes. In the first few episodes, there was barely any chemistry - they really are like two awkward strangers who just met each other and are stuck in this weird situation together.
But as the drama progresses, so does the intensity of their chemistry. It's not like the "in your face chemistry" that most drama couples have - they're a grower, which really contributes to why I think a lot of the audience feel invested by the end! Unfortunately, this also means the drama requires a bit of patience at the start. People who like to see instant chemistry are not going to get it right away

Also this character is so far from Nanon's real life personality or other characters he has played so it's normal to have a sense of unfamiliarity.
There's a hinted GL couple with Milk and Love
