They said there that they can just extract her soul, and make a new body for her. - I think the more cultivation you have, the more handsome / beautiful you are. LOL. Just kidding! - Xiao Lan Hua is basically weak is because in my opinion there's only part of primordial spirits of Xiyun in Xiao Lan Hua's body, hence they cannot identify her as Xiyun. The only one who can identify her is the verifier beast in the trial (sorry I forgot what it's called). This also explains why Xiao Lan Hua is kinda naive and childish. Please also take note that in the drama, they keep mentioning that she just recently gained a human form, she's only 1,500 years old unlike other who's 30000 plus above her age. That's why they are so mature compared to Xiao Lan Hua. I think DFQC is more 100,000 plus and canot die because in the beginning , the war happended 30000 years ago. So if you are comparing DFQC maturity to Xiao Lan Hua, it's really unfair based on their age. There's even part of the episode where Rong Hao excuses her for being young. Also don't compare human age to immortals age - The reason why Chi Di (Goddess of War) experience endless suffering (The consequence of her sacrificing) is because Chi Di's primordial spirit so destroyed and scattered to the point they thought it was gone until Xiao Lan Hua find a nameless destiny book, that's why Xiao Lan Hua cannot identify it. Only the mark of hellfire can identify it. - I think they cannot identify Rong Hao because the mask have dark spirit on it the suppress the identity of Rong Hao.
CASE 2: REVIVING CHI DI AND CHANG HENG MIRRORING THE PAST OF RONG HAO. - The main reason for Rong Hao's action is that he always see the repeatedly sufferings of Chi Di for 30000 years in mortal ream and his regrets of following the rules and obligations without batting an eye, Only by turning evil, he can bring Chi Di back. In his mind, If his master can sacrifice herself for the world, he can sacrifice the world for his master. In this case, Rong Hao is like DFQC that will do anything for anything they want especially if it's important to them. Also, following the rules will only make their deepen their guilt for not trying their best. - Chang Heng is mirrorring the regrets of Rong Hao, that's why thy are best of friends hahahaha. Chang Heng will later realize this because I saw a spoiler that I won't tell you. - Only Chang Heng and Rong Hao have doubt towards Heaven Realm. In one episode, Chang Heng says to Rong Hao why it seems like they don't care even if there's a fairy trap in a Haotian tower. Rong Hao finds Heaven Realm hypocrites that's why it's rare for him to join the events in Heaven Realm and just stay in the painting, because Heaven realm is only picture perfect, but differ in reality. They will not batt an eye for anyone for the greater goods. Evident in not rescuing Xiao Lan Hua when she fell in the Haotian Tower. I think Heaven Realm follow Utilitarianism Concept.

I think it is also intentional to give a sense of conflict in the story because if DFQC is not weak, what will be the problem, the story won't move at all.
Although some hate the body swap ep. in 11-12 but it is very important to make Xiao Lan Hua understand the perspective of Dong Fang Qing Cang. He is the most powerful yet he have so many enemies and he trust no one. It is very essential to the plot. Also from Xiao Lan Hua's perspective, I think no one in the right mind wants to agree that your home and friends will be destroyed by others thus explained the strong reactions of Xiao Lan Hua, it's just that the scene is embarassing, forgetting that she's in DFQC's body.
I like the body swap of DFQC in Xiao Lan Hua's body because it grants Yu Shuxin's wish to play villain in some sort hahaha. Because when she says this on Play Fridge with Jackson Wang, Gong Jun, He Jiong and other, they tease her of what will happen if she plays a killer/antagonist and they tease her (no harm meant).
