I have a different theory: I think the maid was an actress that the director had an affair with. Which was part of the big crazy dramatic breakup with director and producer. Then producer cut her out of the scenes. Hence the weird camera angles too. I donāt think it is so much a big plot twist and the maid is a big bad guy. These dramas typically have better ways to hide a persons faceā¦.ie the leader of the bad sect hidden in the cloak until recently.
