The parallels between XY's parents and YaoLiu 😠Please tell me I wasn't the only one who was immediately reminded of FFB and XY when they showed a glimpse of XY's parents in red and cyan clothing— the color combination that they also used to wear often together. Is it just a coincidence?
XY looking at stars with CX and TJ was amazing. But I know Liu shipper will complaining entire episode was boring.
Funny how the very scene that you mentioned actually incited a lot of complaints because it was apparently a fan fave moment that was supposed to be just between XY and TSJ.
By the way, it's none of your business whether or not anyone finds an episode boring :) Everyone is entitled to their own feelings and opinion. You can simply praise the scene or episode you like.
Season 2 or part 2 (however you wanna call it) does mean the continuation of a narrative, REGUADLESS of when it…
For real. Idk why it's such a big deal whether this is actually a season 2 or not. The point is that this part (LYF2) is definitely not on par with the quality of LYF1. It doesn't matter that it's just a continuation. Even if they didn't split the drama, I'll still be able to tell that this part is lacking, unless the problem is the editing and they would do the exact same as they did with LYF1 (though I can't really point out what exactly is the root cause of the things that went wrong in LYF2).
I was just complaining about this in the topic. First, they are always having stalker Jing intrude on my Yaoliu…
It has become annoying that every yaoliu scene has to be cut by either 1. The episode ending, or 2. TSJ coming. Let us have our peace please? We don't have much time left with Xiang Liu! HAVE MERCY!
At this point, I'd rather have their scene in the next episode completely than them randomly cutting the scene which also frustratingly interrupts my emotions. Someone should tell em that it just ruins the viewer experience.
The top five XL-related things from chapter 35 of the novel that I was sad to see were not included in episode…
It's really disappointing how the drama failed to adapt the scene perfectly, especially because such small details are very important in characterizing YaoLiu where both of them don't speak their thoughts and feelings often.
Only 10 minutes into episode 11 and I just have to say, I've always loved how Yang Zi cries. She's one of the…
I agree. I really hate it when something miserable happens to a character but only like 2 tears will fall down their cheeks and they remain poker face the whole time (unless it fits the situation and character of course).
This drama is Yaojing drama. You just pick wrong ship lmao
1. I was complaining about how they always end the episodes abruptly when there's a yaoliu scene— not at the lack of yaoliu scenes (which is something I already expected since he's just 3rd male lead.).
I really adore the way XY is comfortable and can talk all she wants about her worries in life whenever she's with XL, and the way XL can easily console and make her laugh when she's down. There's just something so comforting about this pairing that it really makes me sad that they're being pushed further away from each other.
The scene where XY recognizes XL in his disguise (Chapter 38) already happened at the end of episode 12, and the yaoliu scenes in Chapter 37 where they listened to the song of the merpeople together didn't happen yet. Then I realized that the "If I die, can you live?" lines were in the trailer so they probably just changed the sequence of scenes lol I just panicked.
THIS DRAMA IS PISSING ME OFF WHY DO THEY END THE EPISODE WHEN THERE'S A YAOLIU SCENE COMING EVERY SINGLE FUCKING TIME I'M ALREADY SUFFERING SO MUCH FROM THE LACK OF YAOLIU SCENES

2. Cang Xuan is the male lead, not Tushan Jing.
