Finally a scene that actually got my full attention on the screen. YZ and ZWY's acting at the end was amazing. I just wish they didn't have to split the scene because it ruins the momentum.

We're not complaining about those types of changes??? Literally most of the changes didn't even require a different setting or CGI or some kind of material. They just needed to be acted out or said, instead they are omitted for no justifiable reason.

Anyways, the writing is starting to feel lazy now— and I've noticed this not just for YaoLiu scenes but also in general. The only thing I'm looking forward to now is the ending.

I'd rather have them include my fave YaoLiu scenes or at least not change the ones they adapted than just constantly seeing XL and chubby trying to get liver cancer.

The drama cannot explain, but it can SHOW. Many of the parts changed that I've been thinking about can easily be shown through actions and camera shots with no explanation. The interpretation is up to us, but the drama has to provide the material— which it's currently lacking because some scenes felt too one-dimensional.

There are many times while watching that I thought, "Why didn't they show this/Why didn't they say this line? This was a really important detail." which frustrates me because it diminishes the meaning in the scenes. Really, sometimes it's just those very easy shots or one-sentenced lines that could've already made a big difference.

I really don't get what's so hard about following the novel. I mean, I'm not demanding an exact replication. But the necessary details really should've been included, or at the very least the flow should've been the same. Yet most of the changes are for the worse rather than actually making the scenes better.

Some part of my soul left along with FFB. That side of XL was one of the best parts of LYF.

the love that they have for each other is so heartwarming and admirable. oh to have that kind of love! amidst all the chaos and suffering, at least they have each other to rely on.

The parallels between XY's parents and YaoLiu 😭 Please tell me I wasn't the only one who was immediately reminded of FFB and XY when they showed a glimpse of XY's parents in red and cyan clothing— the color combination that they also used to wear often together. Is it just a coincidence?

Funny how the very scene that you mentioned actually incited a lot of complaints because it was apparently a fan fave moment that was supposed to be just between XY and TSJ.

By the way, it's none of your business whether or not anyone finds an episode boring :) Everyone is entitled to their own feelings and opinion. You can simply praise the scene or episode you like.

For real. Idk why it's such a big deal whether this is actually a season 2 or not. The point is that this part (LYF2) is definitely not on par with the quality of LYF1. It doesn't matter that it's just a continuation. Even if they didn't split the drama, I'll still be able to tell that this part is lacking, unless the problem is the editing and they would do the exact same as they did with LYF1 (though I can't really point out what exactly is the root cause of the things that went wrong in LYF2).
