It has become annoying that every yaoliu scene has to be cut by either 1. The episode ending, or 2. TSJ coming. Let us have our peace please? We don't have much time left with Xiang Liu! HAVE MERCY!

At this point, I'd rather have their scene in the next episode completely than them randomly cutting the scene which also frustratingly interrupts my emotions. Someone should tell em that it just ruins the viewer experience.

It's really disappointing how the drama failed to adapt the scene perfectly, especially because such small details are very important in characterizing YaoLiu where both of them don't speak their thoughts and feelings often.

I agree. I really hate it when something miserable happens to a character but only like 2 tears will fall down their cheeks and they remain poker face the whole time (unless it fits the situation and character of course).

1. I was complaining about how they always end the episodes abruptly when there's a yaoliu scene— not at the lack of yaoliu scenes (which is something I already expected since he's just 3rd male lead.).

2. Cang Xuan is the male lead, not Tushan Jing.

Probably not, since 2 lines from that scene were in the trailer. Unless they just inserted those specific lines in a different scene.

It's a different one. It was when XY said "My daddy is Qi Yo." to XL.

I really adore the way XY is comfortable and can talk all she wants about her worries in life whenever she's with XL, and the way XL can easily console and make her laugh when she's down. There's just something so comforting about this pairing that it really makes me sad that they're being pushed further away from each other.

The scene where XY recognizes XL in his disguise (Chapter 38) already happened at the end of episode 12, and the yaoliu scenes in Chapter 37 where they listened to the song of the merpeople together didn't happen yet. Then I realized that the "If I die, can you live?" lines were in the trailer so they probably just changed the sequence of scenes lol I just panicked.

My dear, you should learn to utilize your critical thinking skills— it's there for a reason. Stop taking only what is on the surface and try to analyze scenes more carefully.

Whenever someone insults Chi Chen, I feel my heart hurting for XL as well. I won't be able to bear seeing at the end anyone insulting XL and celebrating his death.

Xiang Liu with his white hair and black clothing is such a beautiful sight to see.
