What the drama failed to show us was how the blood sucking scenes actually turned intimate later on lol.

Same OST as S1, though so far there's one new OST sung by Tan Jian Ci. Not so sure if there will be more.

From the novel:

That would help save more of their troops as Xiang Liu took the brunt of all the enemy attacks. So at night in the camp, when the all white figure was spotted, no matter how near the enemy was, all the soldiers could still sleep soundly.

After burning one deceased comrade's body after another, the remaining soldiers finally understood even more why Xiang Liu wore all white - perhaps he really was that brash and arrogant, wanting the enemy to see him; perhaps he was the wisest General who wanted his troops to always be able to see him no matter how dark; no matter the real reason no soldier dared to ask Xiang Liu directly so why he always wore white became a topic that was forever debated but never concluded.

Though I remember he also explained to XY once that he first did it to camouflage in the snow as he was being chased in one of his past experiences.

LMAO I couldn't see what the merman was doing too when I watched it, but that seemed to be the case. I was really confused because I expected the merman to be coldly facing away like in the novel— which probably would've been a more accurate depiction of what XY thought was XL's feelings and stance.

I thought it was just my internet 😭 Earlier, I've been refreshing the page repeatedly because I couldn't load the comments.

I literally waited for them to zoom in and show each and every detail that XY has created. Then I realized they were never going to do it, so I had to screenshot a few times and zoomed in myself yet a lot of the details were still a bit blurred— only the mermaid was seen really clearly.

It's really saddening. As of now, at least 4 of the scenes I've been looking forward to have either been changed as to reduce the depth and meaning, or just completely omitted. I particularly really liked the novel's version of the sequences when FFB was walking XY home after encountering TSJ and his friend. Such a shame that they changed it; I really wanted to see how Yang Zi would've portrayed how much XY did not want to part with XL and how the doors were already closing yet XY was still standing and staring at him, waiting for something unbeknownst to her own self.

I really wished they show the details of the crystal ball. I'm also disappointed at the way the drama downplayed how much time (which was YEARS) and effort XY spent in creating this gift. They made it look like the two experts did all the work when the truth is— the process was so long, laborious, and complex in the novel and that the miniatures didn't just magically shape themselves that way lol.

XL: I've never had any feelings for you. So I don't worry at all.
XY: Right. We have no feelings for each other. That's for the best.

I agree lol I'm having a hard time navigating her thoughts and emotions

YZ and ZWY's chemistry is so good; they portray XY and CX's bond in the most perfect way possible. I may not necessarily ship them here, but I hope they'll have their own drama together.

That scene where CX pushed the swing but there's no XY sitting on it. I cried 😭 The change in their relationship is really so sad.

To those who have read the leaked script, are there changes made in the final outcome?

FFB: Who do you like?
XY: The person I like is the one I want to spend my life with.

Meanwhile in the novel, when XL asked XY who was the one she want to spend her life with (which will also be in the drama later on)— she couldn't answer that question even though she didn't hesitate to say yes when XL asked if she was willing to marry TSJ. YA'LL THIS IS LIKE A CONFIRMATION ALREADY!

"I can't be as willful or unrestrained because of you and Cang Xuan."

"What do you mean by that?"

"If I say I want to hangout with Xiang Liu, would you agree?"
