I've completed ep 6. I love spoilers so can someone spoil who are the good guys vs bad guys for me? Also who's…
Watch again the rooftop scene and you will see. ;) It was "hidden" revealed in that scene (what can a psycho do and what not), because from now on, the most important question is not who was the killer for real.
I think this, You think that, We will never agree on that. I wrote in the style as you wrote to others and me. You can see the differences between the two posts.
Anyway, I glad you liked the series. This was clearly not for me (I dropped it too yesterday, so it was new experience for me). But It made me even more curious about the Trapped. It seems very promising. So I have high expectation about it. I hope Trapped will be even better than Make our days count.
Learning life lessons about how to conduct myself according to what I see happen in some series? I would never do that. Series for me is like entertaining too, but in an other way. I like watching and analyzing these contents (maybe this is why my favorite genre is the mystery). For me, the story is the main focus point and after that the characters etc etc. Not the lessons. They are important part of the stories, but not the most important.
O-okay... I get it now! I am a retard who don't watch or read enough books, movies, series, animes, etc just for entertainment purpose! *sobbing and throw away the TharnType book by Mame (which also contains sexual assault!) and after that The psychopath inside by James Fallon * Can you explain why it was a consensual sex after the abuser admitted the rape? (end of ep 6) https://i.gifer.com/mx.gif
"Your weird reply to my question about what happens when BOTH parties are drunk is especially ridiculous. The correct answer is: NOTHING. They shake their heads, share a laugh, get up, put on their clothes and go home to treat their hangovers. THAT'S what happens among non-crazy people."
I don't think you get the point what i was talking about or even the context. I talked about RAPE alias NON-CON SEX. What is you talking about is the consensual type of the drunk sex (where typically they are not too much drunk), but there are soooooo much cases, when one of the parties is more drunk than the other and in the end, maybe the person will feel that, he or she was used or got some bruises from the other, or the other one was somebody who was not preferred by the victim and so on and so on. That was why I wrote this: "It depends on a lots of things, but if someone thinks -or even both parties- that was a sexual assault, they can turn to the police (personally, phone, online) or call the local helplines. These actions can save lives." Read between the lines before you said that the other is a creepy idiot, pls! Read that article what I sent to you, and you will see WTF I am talking about! Just read or watch some scientifically accurate things and you will see what was my problem with the mentality of the series.
First of all, Yong Jie told his plan to his mother BEFORE the trip (ep 5). Second, Simon drank what Yong Jie mixed to him. And he mixed a very strong cocktail on purpose but he didn't talk about this to Simon. That amount of alcohol content dazed Simon off so Yong Jie had to hold him in his lap to brought him to the room. Third, Simon was so drunk he did everything because he didn't know about himself and Yong Jie knew that (ep 6. bed scene). (That song and the camera angles... Brrr.) On the next day, Simon was in shock and barely could remember the night before, just some random moment from the rape. He also felt guilt (rape victims' false sense of guilt). After that, Yong Jie admitted it in the friends house, he did everything on purpose: to had him for his birthday as a gift because he knew Simon wouldn't make such things when he is fully awake. And on the top of that, as I heard, he made a video and showed it to the parents, so he committed other crimes too. It was premeditated rape scene, nothing more or less. A romanticized one (with music, camera angles, lightning, sentences, the aftermath), and that is the main problem! I know It is just a drama, but for some viewers, It can trigger some sort of memories, or It can make a bad influence on them. And it is a very common problem with dramas (not just some bls). They sell these stories as romantic and part of an average relationship (beginning or in process). This is wrong, very wrong.
Your question is a very important and difficult one. I highly recommend this report on the topic. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4484270/ Maybe this is about college students, but it is true for the adults too. It is very sad that so many people don't know about this. "What happens when BOTH persons are drunk and fuck all night? How do they decide who gets turned in to the cops?" It depends on a lots of things, but if someone thinks -or even both parties- that was a sexual assault, they can turn to the police (personally, phone, online) or call the local helplines. These actions can save lives.
You can skip the recaps, but the two episodes long spin-off (Mouse: The predator) is an important part of the series, so I recommend you to watch it after ep 15.
I have watched this show twice and I have to say its a pretty good and I only had 2 major dislikes about 1) I…
I agree with you in the case of the brothers. On the top of that the rape was premeditated too and he admitted it in the next day after he forcefully kissed him.
I dropped it after the second attempt of rape (this time from the colleague against of the ML). And what about the little brother and his "actions"... Why they have to use this again? It makes me sick and tired. Romanticizing rape is not fun to watch for a lot of people (including myself)! Even they used romantic music in bros case which makes me disgusted. How could have been the rape romantic? Pls! On the top of that the rape was premeditated too in the case of the brothers and Yong Jie admitted it in the next day after he forcefully kissed Simon. I think I should have checked out the Trapped instead of this.
I don't know why you feel the need to debate this?? Does it harm you in some way that people are shipping them?…
If they lose their interest because of the shippers and their ships, that means they don't care enough about the drama itself to start or continue it. (The drama has no LGBTQ tag, so there isn't real homosexual content, perhaps just bromance. There is a tag list where everybody can see what the drama is about. So if somebody don't like some type of content, they can watch out what is this about before they start to watch it.)

Sorry for my rudeness. :S
