I've really tried to be understanding of Park Ajeong given her family situation, but she's honestly getting more annoying to watch. I still don't see the purpose of her character in this show.
I wondered how they could keep up the tension after that explosive ep 4 ending, but ep 5 really delivered! I love love love the FL and ML together, they are such a joy to watch
Noh Kijun is the greenest flag ever, sensitive, empathetic, emotionally available, yet assertive and straightforward. It's no surprise a lot of women are attracted to him. Can't remember the last time I've seen a male lead like him
I really want to understand the SFL (A Jeong) but I just canโt relate with any of her actions or intentions.…
I agree. I'm really not understanding the purpose of her character and how the show wants us to feel about her. So far she's crossed too many boundaries, her inapproriate behavior with the vice president, her practially guilt tripping the ML into letting her stay at his place... I'm surprised she's managed to keep her job despite her behaviour
With each episode I'm loving the dynamic between the leads more and more! She loves teasing the ML when he's flustered, but at the same time he's really the only one who she leds her guard down around, compared to that strict and extroverted "persona" at work. The ML at first felt annoyed/intimidated by her, but having grown up with three older sisters he kinda knows how to handle someone like the FL. Seeing different sides of her time after time, he's subtly started caring for her, like on the drive back in episode 4
wow what a tonal shift from the leads to the scene between the boss and employee. A really uncomfortable watch, but I think a necessary one since cases like that can unfortunately be a reality for some people. props to both actos, but especially the actress, her distress and panic was heartbreaking.
It should be obvious, but I do appreciate the show adressing different types of workplace "affairs". An extramarital yet consenual affair is different to harassement and abuse of power ath the workplace and should be handled accordingly, not matter how "important" the individual is to the company.
Her: "Are you saying my body is shocking?" Him: "Yes, of course" Her: ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ Me: ๐๐๐
I actually burst out laughing at his expression realising what he said and it cutting back to her shocked face haha. Also I love how much she loves teasing him! She has so much fun with it
This drama just keeps getting better with every episode. Its really one of the most unconventional office romcom…
Beautifully said! Especially the character description of the ML and FL, that's what I love about this show. It feels refreshing instead of tropey or old-school
The tension in the hotel room scene! This is what I watch kdrama romcoms for haha. Plus the way they've started to see each other in a different light gradually has felt so natural, the attraction is palpable.
I think the hotel room scene really cemented their dynamic. Them talking about him seeing her as a nude model, their honest feelings about the awkwardness, the subsequnet teasing, how flustered the ML was. It all just feels so realistic.
In a way this is scratching my classic-office-romcom-kdrama itch, but I'm loving how they've put some twists in there, like the role-reversal of the typical ML and FL, but also how sensible the ML is (having grown up with 3 older sisters) and that the FL doesn't act like an asshole to everyone despite fulfulling the kdrama-boss-trope in the beginning
One thing that always bothers me in these office dramas is that noone locks their screen when they leave their desk haha. I can't be the only one that had that drilled in me ever since I started working right?
My favorite thing about this drama is how he has women in his life ๐คง his mom/sisters and ex or friend who heโs…
So true! Plus the ML being the baby of the family with three big sisters really explains a lot about his character haha. He's already surrounded by alpha-women in his private life and now with Ju Ina on top of that makes a hilarious combination
Now this is a proper office comedy haha. Tbh it's cracking me up a lot more than I expected! Plus I'm looking forward to how the leads relationship will develop. Loving both of their characters after these first 2 episodes!
I love Noh Sang Hyun as an actor, why did they have to make him the childhood-friend-of-the-FL-that-secretly-has-a-crush-on-her.... I hate that trope with a passion
I thought the first two episodes were really fun. it's not trying to be some groundbreaking show, it's a classic romcom kdrama. i don't need thought provoking subjects in every single show I watch. sometimes I just wanna be entertained and laugh at how silly the lead couple is being lol
Cheng Ying is so adorable, saying he'll grown stronger to protect both of them (an established general and the sovereign of spirits) so they don't get hurt anymore haha. Trying his hardest to keep this little found family together (I will fight anyone that dares to hurt him)
