Meng Wang is really growing on me with these last two episodes, such a cool lady, my respect to her for not letting her personal feelings clouding her judgment and remaining logical
Episode 8 was a blast! Really enjoyed the fight scenes, Arthur Chen was very captivating there, he completely…
Duan Xu really lived up to to his assassin past. The massacre of the enemy base and taking the severed head of the general were quite brutal, but surprisingly entertaining to watch? I guess since we finally got to see his true skills and glimpses of his past
The way Duan Xu broke those chains, covered in blood? Kinda (not kinda but really) hot... Why is it that generals being covered in blood makes them more attractive?
Honestly throughout this whole show I never cared for XJS, he was always supposed to be the final villain but honestly the actor's performance wasn't strong enough to pull that off. However in these last two episodes he really have me the ick, dude is delusional. The audacity of this man is astonishing.
I'm shocked at how much I've started rooting for Feng Xiyang once she was in Jinxiu lol. I started really sympathizing with her, especially in comparison to Xia Jingshi. Guess it also helps that Xia Meng is acting circles around Chen Heyi (who's as wooden as a doll), the direct comparison is almost humorous
It's been a while since I've seen a straight up idiotic character like the sister. Like some side characters in other shows have annoyed me, but Xiyang is honestly delusional and spoiled
I love that in these fictional dynasty settings they can go all out on the constumes. That wedding dress is stunning! I love the sparkly fabric and the use of feathers
I also really appreciate that both leads dub themselves since they've got such distinct voices.
Why is it that generals being covered in blood makes them more attractive?
