Meng Wang is really growing on me with these last two episodes, such a cool lady, my respect to her for not letting her personal feelings clouding her judgment and remaining logical

I loved the detail of how much Duan Xu was shaking when hugging He Simu, he was really trying to keep himself together, finding her so badly injured

Love that He Simu got a looking-hot-and-awesome-covered-in-blood scene as well😌

The way He Simu is experiencing having a sense of touch is sooo endearing 😭 like a little kid

Duan Xu really lived up to to his assassin past. The massacre of the enemy base and taking the severed head of the general were quite brutal, but surprisingly entertaining to watch? I guess since we finally got to see his true skills and glimpses of his past

Episode 8 was a blast! Really enjoyed the fight scenes, Arthur Chen was very captivating there, he completely disappeared into the role of Duan Xu

I also really appreciate that both leads dub themselves since they've got such distinct voices.

The way Duan Xu broke those chains, covered in blood? Kinda (not kinda but really) hot...

Honestly throughout this whole show I never cared for XJS, he was always supposed to be the final villain but honestly the actor's performance wasn't strong enough to pull that off. I'm shocked at how much I've started rooting for Feng Xiyang once she was in Jinxiu lol. I started really sympathizing with her, especially in comparison to Xia Jingshi. Guess it also helps that Xia Meng is acting circles around Chen Heyi (who's as wooden as a doll), the direct comparison is almost humorous
