The scene where he's reborn is so funny, the FL cracks me up hahaha
Also love that apartment. Such a refreshing set, feels more like a place people would actually live in (and not the usual sterile aparments of "rich ceos" in these shows)
I think they wasted too much time on the ex-bf, could've used that time on the husband and devoloping the relationship with the FL. The husband is probably the most supportive and understanding character I've seen in these vertical dramas.
We've got people saying the script is trash and stupid, and others saying that it's a masterpiece and anyone that doesn't understand it is mentally stunted... seriously, do we not know the meaning of nuance? Since when is it okay to insult other people for their opinions simply bc they differ? Stop acting like someone disagreeing is a personal attack on you.
Who cares if someone likes a drama you hate? Doesn't mean they have low standards. Who cares that someone doesn't like a drama you enjoy? Doesn't mean they're stupid. In either case, you're not morally superior, so stop acting so condescending.
"Why does Nan Heng even like Yimeng?" Well yeah because everyone except for his mom, have always manipulated him…
Kinda sad that the moment someone shows him a little kindness he so quickly falls in love, when the same person constantly insults him to his face and plots to assassinate him lmao. He should get some self-respect.
Exactly my thoughts, her character falls flat in comparison to NH/LSL or even CGH for that matter. I honestly…
Exactly! I don't dislike SYM, she's funny and realistic, but also so frustrating to watch. Even CGH went through more character development (tho for the worse haha)
I honestly don't understand how Nanheng falls in love with SYM. She doesn't listen to him, talks over him, doesn't trust him, constantly accuses him. And most importantly she doesn't see him as a real person. In fact she doesn't see any of the people around her as real people with thoughts and feelings, and it shows in the way she talks and treats them. Whether that's justified or not, how can you fall in love under those circumstances?
It's a shame. The writers put a lot of effort into making NH/LSL an intersting charcter with many layers, but couldn't do the same for SYM. She's supposed to be the "real" person transmigrated into a story full of "paper characters", but why does she feel more flat in comparison?
Edit: She's starting to be swayed, but they wasted too many episodes with SYM stuck in the same mindset. We're more than halfway through the show, too many misunderstandting, not enough communication. Is it really that surprising that viewers are getting frustrated? I want to watch shows for entertainment, not to pull my hair out lol
Is anyone else slightly bothered by how the ML has been getting a much more serious, layered arc lately, while…
The FL is starting to feel like a side character in her own show. The writers put a lot more effort into making Nan Heng/LSL an interesting character, but the FL had barely (if any) character development.
I know they're trying to make Qingying the bubbly younger sister in comparison to the cold and cunning ML, but honestly she's just reckless and not endearing at all.
I just started watching and lol what was this uproar about the harem? it's not like anyone forced her, and all…
And it's honestly not realistic for a man of ML's status to be unmarried, especially with all those scheming families around trying to get him on their side
for the people who say the FL is biased against the ML and she should be smarter yada yada. Dude literally tried…
I do think it's interesting that all the ML's military achievements are downplayed as him having ulterior (or even traitorous) motives when it's actually him protecting the border and trying to be acknowledged by the emperor. But his image as this evil monster is too prominent, so noone believes him to be genuine in his intentions.
