What you are entitled to do here in the comment section is - to tell your opinion about the drama you have watched. But you are not entitled to judge other drama watchers who like the drama you don't like or don't sgree with your opinion about it.
You really don't need to care what others watch and make it your business.

When one sees the certain amount of dramas, there probably accures the state of saturation - you already know too many plots, you can't stand fillers anymore, even your favourite actors can't save for you a drama that starts to deteriorate and sinks the boat. For example I was very much looking forward to Legend of Anle... but after seven or eight episodes, I didn't get hooked up... flop... and drop...
I like almost all genres and drama being interesting is the only criteria I have, so, if for me that ain't there, there's no helping it.
I'm not sentimental about finishing dramas, so my pace of dropping is probably outrageous... never mind, let's hope for a good year 2024 in dramaland.

I didn't count how many dramas I watched, in short: a lot. Specially because for me 2023 was a year when I started to watch mostly mini dramas. I got tired of long productions as too many of them begin very good and after 10-15 episodes start to go downhill until often strange ending... I sort of gave up on them, I dropped more than I finished...
My top drama for last year would be Cdrama Scent of time, I think this is first one ever that I rated 10/10, that's how much I loved it. I was holding my breath from start to end in fear it would crash, but it didn't disappoint, on contrary, the ending was perfect.
For 2024 I hope to come asross more dramas that would catch as my heart as my brain so I wouldn't fall asleep from boredom while watching.... yeah, I know, I hope for a lot... LOL....

Your comment really amused me. Because that is the comment I wanted to add to many dramas where roles are turned arround: ML treats FL like shit, openly flirts and mistreats FL for his other woman, neverending abuse... Only, nobody gets really angry for that FL like you did for this poor ML...

I just finished Scent of Time where she nailed her role and carries the drama like a big star. Excelent!

This is one of best Cdramas I've seen till now. And I've seen many. From first to last episode it was exciting, enjoyable and fulfilling journey. Everything is just right: storytelling, acting, great dialogs, no fillers, overall quality... excelent. One of best endings. Tense, deep undercurrent romance and FL actress that shines throughout whole drama. This peace of art impressed me with its depth and understanding of life, I truly loved it!

Life is beautiful only if one is able to see its beauty. When you are considering suicide, the fact that you ARE alone is most overwhelming. Because being isolated by others, having no one to confide in, feeling that nobody really cares if you die or live - not even you, yourself - that is the point when one asks: why be here? At that moment death comes as the saviour who will accept everything in you which isn't appreciated by anybody else.
Somebody with loving, caring people arround, would such person consider ending own life? I think, one wouldn't. Being deeply unhappy and seeing no value in own existence... that makes you ready to go to extreme measures, to ease this emotion of own useless and empty presence.
As I said for me this was the bottom point of my life. I knew that from there I don't want to go anywhere else but to standing up.
It's been some decades from then. Yes, I have a lot to look back and be satisfied with, specially a new family and friends I have, apreciate and am blessed with. But most importantly, I finally met my very best friend in whole universe, who makes my life a bliss and worth living - myself.
I wish everybody could have that moment when they can choose to go or stay. Those few seconds to realise the uniqueness of the chance given to you, when you are born.

I tried suicide myself when I was young. So, I know what is the state of mind that takes you there. One just can't see other solutions and consideres death as only and may be the easiest way out. Other side of this is that one doesn't cherish own life. Also doesn't cope with the fact that death actually means the end and there is no comeback from it.
When I felt that I'm knocking on the door of passing away, I realised I don't want to die. And called for help. Since then I never searched for solution in dying. Turned to life, making fight by facing everything withouth running away from it. Actually my suicide attempt was most important turning point of my life. I gave myself a second chance because I wanted it. I still think that whoever decides to die by own hand - has right to do it, withouth being judged, only, the question is, does one really comprehend what it means to die. I wonder how many of people, that killed themselves would choose life if they had a chance again.

I agree with you. But, you know, all this is part of a bigger picture, I mean, the standards that are enforced on celebrities. Specially those for looks. The basic point is to present something that looks perfect, more handsome than any person you have actually met in real life - and then make a desire out of it. Desire of milions of people who then want to reach up to this standards. And you get an enormous market for plastic surgery, slimming products, all kind of other industries who are connected to body shaping or lifestyle products. That is why this will hardly change because obsessing over celebrities brings enormous amounts of money and that is why such situation is actually iniciated and not supressed or regulated.
Then you can also add the pychological effect of this mania: if you obsess with others lives, you wont care about your own situation so much and will be in numbed state - so it is easier to manipulate and influence you... When you finally realize how empty and aimless your life is - they will willingly sell you antidepressants and other drugs... win-win, aint it.... in short: - it's all about money and those, who have power, just want it to be this way....

Maybe suicide is selfish but everone has to bear own pain and when one can't endure anymore, also has a right to say goodbye. Otherwise, very nice comment.

LOL, that would be typical cdrama ending for this trope. Let's hope they come up with something better or more surprising.

What only matters about actors is if they are good at acting. All the rest is their privacy and none of your business. I strongly recommend that you take a good look in the mirror and check your own vibe - to see if your brain is listed under primates or amoebas. LOL!

You are definitelly not the only one who mixes this terms... I watch various animations for more than 20 years and picked some details along the way, so to say... We learn until we die and that makes life interesting.

I liked Xu Kai Cheng in this drama, his acting was good, nice show of emotions, but FL was not in pair. I liked her in My little happiness but here... may be it was the role and drama itself or something else, but it didn't work for me...

For now the thing I have problem about is - all men are dressed like bears, according to desert conditions, only FL jumps arround in shorts... She has gorgeous legs, that can't be denied, but... really?

I'm waiting for "Joy of life" for few years, already... it's the fact that most of cliffhanged Cdramas never get next season... It happened with Soul Land, too... I guess Xiao Zhan wont be doing Tang San any time soon... or never...
You can watch donghua Martial master even that one is also not finished yet.

I hope you don't mind to clarify this for you, donghua is not same as manhua, eng. manga - I don't read that, either. But I watched a lot of anime and donghua, so this live version of Martial master... hmmm... After watching animated one I didn't find this appealing enough to watch the same story again... I found it a bit wierd paced and stiff...
But there is an anouncement that they are filming "The mortals journey to immortality" and Yang Yang should play ML. Thaaat will be interesting... I guess...
