I'm now at ep20, hooked & enjoying the drama. The ML-FL love relationship & chemistry gets better starting ep19. FL Jin Yurong (once a Princess of fallen Qing Dynasty), her persistent dream ambition since young, her selflessness, sincerity, her strong work ethic, her commitment to social justice issues, helping people in times of need, not condescending or arrogant, caring, empathetic are qualities/values/virtues of a true Princess/Queen & professional doctors. No wonder men like ML Zhao Zhengnan, Liang Bowen & Buri Gude were drawn to her. With help from bestie old uni mate Liang Bowen, FL Yurong scored 1st place in the doctorate exam (Qualification Exam of Beijing Renhe Hospital). That's how ML was attracted to FL & eversince then, ML has set sights on FL. ML said he genuinely loves everything about FL, incl. her strengths & weaknesses, her being proud & independent. JiaoJiao's an ignorant brainless bimbo, no single achievement except doll herself with Dad's luxuries & an annoying pest in his eyes, & she still can't comprehend & make a comparison between herself & his love interest.

You don't have to watch if it's trashy for you. If romance is your favourite genre, you're better off watching 50 shades of grey series alike ✌🏼 Whilst I'm not supporting abusive & manhandling of women, however the guy's been tormented for years, his parents were murdered & he's led to believe his "loved one" was involved in their murders. But towards the ending, he was lovey dovey after finding out & evidenced she was not involved but her Dad was murdered too by the same person who'd feigned innocence, the real murderer. He was torn between hating & loving her simultaneously. Peace ✌🏼

There's NO rape. He's a 5-star military General who'd won battles, so we don't expect CEO romantic types of wooing. I agree he's rough on her becos eariler she'd misled him to protect him, thus he thought her Dad & her had involved in murdering his parents. He'd forced kissed her but there's no tearing clothes nor rape!!! There were very close friends before, not complete strangers before "separation".

Don't understand how some people think that drama is the everyday life of most ordinary people. In reality, domestic violence is still relevant today, higher rates in 2nd & 3rd world perhaps, & worst, countries where there're inadequate laws. And Sakura, shall I remind you that male dominance is a social norm in Japan. Watch more news around the world, & different genres esp. Hollywood's, it helps with your narrow perception :)

After watching movies like 50 Shades of Grey series, would you think all beautiful rich guys are narcissists with sociopathic tendencies?? And after watching movies like Redeeming Love, would you think women are forced harlots or willing harlots & you think they're all cultural??? You don't watch any movie/drama without a finale or RESOLUTION, do you? It is the CONCLUSION (problem SOLVED & redeemed!) that we want see, just like writing an essay or a novel. If it is not dramatic (fictional unless it's documentary), it won't be called a drama. Basic report/essay/novel: Introduction, Body: Rising action/Climax, Conclusion: Resolution.

Eh Abu, don't like the drama, move on to somewhere else, don't understand, don't comment & distort. I rather watch this drama than watching Nightmares on Elm St, American Pie, Two Night Stand, or Sniper 🤮🤢 Use your brain before spewing distortions

Abu, do you even know the storyplot & have you even completed without skips 24 episodes with a much reformed all lovey dovey guy towards the happy end? At least this guy is one woman man, not in any polygamous relationships. Go watch Hollywood Sleeping with the Enemy (sexual abuse), Pretty Little Liars (bullies), & Game Of Thrones (incest) alike, they're perhaps more of your taste of movies/dramas.

Thank goodness ML's bad attitude changed once misunderstandings were cleared. Both ML & FL acted really well, ML's love for FL was so real leaving no doubts his feelings for her in the last episodes ❤️

I enjoyed watching TTEOM & Love Is Sweet, her Bailu pairing with Leo Luo - the BEST ♥♥

It's high time Bailu to pair with somebody older & mature. I haven't yet really watched Bailu's latest dramas (CP with DW & ZLH) as after flicking through a few episodes, it's a turn off she looked like a big sister or aunty or clucking mother hen than a lover 😂😂😂 Same idea, ZLH should be pairing with actresses like Wang Churan, Zhang Ruonan or Meng Xi, as Bailu is too old looking 😂😂😂

I can't see what's the big deal with Bailu, she's pretty but there're other prettier ones. Although Bailu is among one of my 20 favourites, however there're other stunning women I love watching ie Elaine Zhong, Zhang Yuxi, Wang Churan, Ke Ying, Shen Yue, Liang Jie, Jing Tian, Tang Min, Meng Xi, Zhu Lilan, Zhao Lusi, Li Qin, etc. Ou Hao is not ugly. If Ou Hao is ugly, what about Shawn Dou or Leo Yang, to me, they're okay as not everyone is born beautiful in this world. Google & you'll find out some may have been under knives, botox & collagen, etc. who knows, as they're all actresses & actors and they need to be beautiful. Not forgetting Katy Pery, Megan Fox, Zac Efron, Christian Bale, etc. & even Elon Musk to name a few, had some sort of cosmetic procedures done 😊😊😊

I so agree with you. FL Meng Xi's my recent favourite, love watching her❤️‍🔥 How can men find silly childish immature extreme baby voice irresistible sex appeal is beyond my understanding haha. That sis-in-law ZeXin is a big turn-off, behaviour of a 5 yr old, she should be written off from the drama 😂 😂 Face it, if Gu Cheng considers to have her, it's becos of her rich social status 😂 😂

Maybe it's good change for Bailu as lately she's been pairing with young pretty boys like Dylan Wang, Zhang Linghe & thereafter geting into serious relationship with one of them her toyboy 😂😂😂

I'm glad this one's a HE. I too dislike FLs with extreme baby voice, silly & immature, they're very offputting & cringey, & she's not the worst (there're "popular" FLs worse than her!) Yeah, it's amazing how men could find silly childish women any sex appeal at all lol. I love watching FLs like @All of Her's Meng Xi, my recent favourite :)
