Zzzβs mom only a side role, while FYSβs mom, her life since she got married was already punishment. But yes…
I think the scariest was when YS 's car plunged onto those construction metal rods (I couldn't rewatch this part, it's not as terrifying as supernatural gore horror Final Destination but it's bad enough for tender hearts like us). I've put Romance on the Farm aside for later (watchlist pouch is my To Do app "drama movie to watch", no actually I'm lazier, more like in my movie chrome folder hehe π) I don't usually like watching modern Cdramas either, exception if I love the FL, makes a lot of difference, Elaine Zhong is classy, love her especially in Rising With The Wind, & The Furthest Distance, thereafter Love Is Panacea π₯° π₯°
Let me explain this in simple manner... This is only for very basic understanding... (Taking example of Unilever…
I love romance movies/dramas in business or corporate world & doctors/surgeons, lawyers romance such as this, movies like Joy, The Big Short, Gold, Steve Job, Bezos, Wall Street, etc. with added romance π
I guess most movies/dramas, they've ups & downs, toxic people or something else to create & build a storyline, the culmination & resolution, either BE & HE. Me, I don't care about annoying ex gf or ex bf (we could choose to skip or ffx2π) as long the main leads lived happily ever after ππ
Zzzβs mom only a side role, while FYSβs mom, her life since she got married was already punishment. But yes…
Babyface, let's move on to other dramas, wasting your time with explanations ππ I'm watching Rising With The Wind & The Furthest Distance right now, they're quite good. MDL ratings are unreliable, who cares whether they're low, they're like us any random Mary, Lily & Jane haha unlike Rotten Tomatoes' qualified movie critics & approved publications. Don't worry, Chengyi will survive, you'll begin to love another like Leon Zhang or Gongjun ππ If you happened to be @The Furthest Distance, despite how some hated the ex bf & ex gf living twin, it's just a movie/drama, they're not in our lives thank gawd lol ππ
Fique why is it so hard to accept that there're factually authoritative/controlling parents, they're all over the World, however Asian parents tend to be more authoritative than Western parents. Have you ever read news or articles that even arranged marriages exist in this current modern era. Here we have a bunch of snowflakes freaking out because of authoritative Moms lol ππ π Moms using "tough love" approach as they believe children are often making wrong choices, hence guiding them to find the right path, may be YS's Mom too. However, needs to keep in mind level of education of parents too & the understanding that every kid is different & unique lol ππ π Quite some time ago, I read an article an Asian Mom used a baseball bat to hit her Son when Son came home without As, so do we called her toxic, mental, ignorant or stupid? It's jailtime or locked up in rehabilitation centre that's for sure if she lived in West countries. I was from M'sia, sharing an article on M'sia on "forced marriage better than unfaithful partner" logic from somebody prominent :) https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/arranged-marriage-countries & https://www.malaymail.com/news/malaysia/2023/05/14/dr-akmal-on-unity-govt-forced-marriage-better-than-unfaithful-partner/69180
I saw on Twitter that there will be 19 kiss scenes in the drama? Is that true? If yes, that will be a record kiss…
Yeah I know they're professional actors/actresses, it's their allocated role with any age assigned appropriate to role & storyplot, & it's common in career revolving the entertainment industry. In Asia, real life partners with the age gap 7 yrs of woman age 35 senior to young man age 28 would be very likely scorned upon. I live Down Under, an age gap as wide as this being woman senior to man somehow still matters but traditionally it's already been accepted if it's the other way round. If woman 30 & above dates young man in early 20s, woman is called a vulgar derogatory term, cougar lol πππ Anyway, let's just enjoy the drama, we're in this modern era of wokeism where we should be embracing age diversity as well haha.
me too from the description I thought it would be more about the 2 leads journey and healing for ML. I feel like…
ππyes yes. They just released two more 2-min eps, like a breeze Mutual Redemption Love, watching Ghosted (Chris Evans') right now, resuming Rising With the Wind & The Furthest Distance thereafter :) And I'll definitely pull out Love Is Panacea from watchlist pouch when it's confirmed happy ending hahaππ
i just finished this, their love is sweet and they will stay together in any situation. But for me personally,…
How would you want them punished? FYS's Mom has been suspended/terminated from Lingtian Group her father once put his heart & soul in it. Instead she was given real estate properties to compensate for career loss. As for FXZ, he's got to keep his management role & was given veto powers to override/reject resolutions approved by majority shareholders, but nothing left of any real properties to him, hence he needs to work hard. As for ZZ, she'd already dobbed on her own Mom the hospital scandal relating to the couple who'd been punished severely enough (if it wasn't for ZZ, I doubt it'll be easily discovered & revealed). Besides, YS's Mom was the one who'd instigated it & ZZ's Mom was only playing along but she'd stopped communicating, friendship turned sour with YS's Mom eversince, also intended to sell their shares of Lingtian to the other company "A" which FXZ has plotted to see the end of Lingtian Group, & to which ZZ's Mom not supporting but proceeded in selling their majority shares to Co "A". Producers wanted ZJ to spend more time with YS, thus she'd to be contented with Cardiology/Science Lecturer instead of being a 24/7 busy Cardiac Surgeon. I think the finale is quite fair & just, best of all, a happy ending for the ML & FL ππ
but i think falling into your smile has more kiss scence than 19 π
Even if there're kisses, they need to be passionate, eye contact in love & real like those in Hollywood. Some are just expressionless & touching of lips, that's it, not feeling it π€£π€£
I'm on episode 28 and it's not long before I drop it because of his mother. God help me. Im so frustrated
In real life, they're such authoritative Moms, just that we haven't heard or seen enough. Even research & psychologists have listed types of parenting, from Tiger Moms to Jellyfish, neglectful Moms. Parents are humans, are imperfect & have flaws too. Arnold Schwarneggar described it as tough love, however YS's Mom may think that her decisions are best for her only Son, Mom thought she could be a Snowplough Mom but they backfired didn't they, & in the finale she apologised to Son, and ML & FL got a happy ending ππ

Yeah, let's not forget to embrace age diversity in pairing couples in the arts & entertainment field as well, not only are they merely doing their job, but we need to accept legal real life age gaps interchangeably between M/F, F/M, M/M, F/F & vice versa in real life couples too. We need to chill & welcome to the ideologies & liberal Gen Z & Alpha πππ
