I heard this drama is a BIG INVESTMENT of iQiyi. And i didn't see any issue with the costumes and settings. It looked so beautiful. Especially Bailu's costume when she was an empress. It was very stunning. So i don't get your opinions about this is a "not expensive" drama. Some ppl here also talked about iQiyi gave big investment to this drama or something.

Nope, she only watched 5 eps with skipping n fast forward. Her review is very biased/subjective. She often looked down many dramas just because it's not her cup of tea. She is hard to please bcs everything looked bad in her eyes when the scenes are actually fine. But she also can overrated some dramas that she liked when the drama is actually "average" n boring for some people (for example A dream of splendour). So it's really subjective actually.
