So far, this is the best chinese firefighter drama i have ever seen (Idk with Yang Yang's fireworks on the earth bcs it has not been released yet). She is just a form of entertainment. I like to hear her rants or different perspective about dramas. Ikr you don't like her bcs of Zhang Zhe Han scandal, but i am still neutral in this case. Sometimes, it's funny that she can rant everything when the drama is actually fine.
Actually some ppl want to challenge her to create her own scenario if her brain is that perfect. Many ppl asked her to work again in c-ent and "prove" her so-called perfect story but she never listen to them lol
I told you what happened with Roy Kim. I never meant to be rude to you. That's the fact. She rejected him. The ending also didnt show any Roy Kim again after rejection. But Dr Cha make a peace with her ex husband. She also maintained a good relationship with her children. She opened cafe n clinic for people in the town.
Satisfying or not. Everyone perspective is different. For me, the ending is makes sense. Bcs it's her journey and she can be free. She want to be a single doctor who focus on her career and she is happy with her current life.
Simple. SHE REJECTED HIM. And Dr Cha only think him as a friend from beginning actually. She has husband and families before. And I respected her in that way. Why? Bcs if she has any feeling for Roy Kim before divorce, it would be the same with cheating.
Dr Cha will be ended up alone in the end and focus on her career. Just my prediction. I already watched enough korean dramas in my life, so if the writer choose this way, i will not be surprised. Korean dramas with unsatisfying ending is become a habit these days.
Dr Cha will come again to her husband is also an option for me. She loves her kids so much. But she was also disgusted with her husband behaviour. And writer used that "car crying scene" in ep 15 to show her husband redemption + sincerity. Idk which path that the writer will choose.
Roy Kim is a great character. But idk with Dr Cha feeling for him. And I doubt the writer will put them together in the end. Or if the writer put them together, she will make it in ambigous way like they meet each other again somewhere in distant or something. Lol. Like "another" kdramas.

Korean dramas got its own fantasy cliche theme and Chinese fantasy dramas also have its own cliche fantasy theme especially in Xianxia genre. I never deny all that facts. Basically, fantasy tropes are becoming more n more cliche.

Oh also, NOT every chinese historical drama is fantasy. They have various sub genres. For example wuxia/martial arts, war/battle, biography, real historical drama, historical fiction drama, etc. Just in case, you can't tell them apart LMAO
