I think its not a problem for most of people. No matter what, the ending is pretty clear. Its real and its not some bullshit like comma, dream or novel troupes. He got the memories update and the 2 versions merged as one.
Its the most make sense ending for time lapse/time travel drama. The writer cant force 2021 FL with 2022 ML because of the time gap. But ML is the ML himself. The memories are coming back and become his own memories.

For weak ML, i wont say anything coz his presence is only for romance part. The 2nd/Villain ML is much stronger than him. Thats why I said I dont like the ML here, its not his acting, but the character is the problem. Basically, he is just a kind hearted prince who support the FL. But he wanted to stay away from politics, thats why he is lack of power.

She is very good here. If you wanna see the badass FL. Just skip it to ep 3 or 4. Actually you wont miss anything coz the plot basically come back to the beginning again, the difference is just her decisions and her new cold demeanor.

The ending is pretty good. Its similar with kdrama Kairos. The memories of ML n FL keep updating then their 2 versions merged become one person who remember everything in the end. The ML also died in the future/2022 version (kairos also had this troupe) but the past version of them "prevented" that event so the future changes n the memories are updating as a whole.
