Is anyone surprised that Se Jun didn’t turn himself in?
Is there a betting pool? I want in. 😂

Is the series divided like some of the past history series or its combined in all 20 episodes
Combined. And there aren't really 20 episodes, there are 10 one-hour episodes that got split to make 20. Like some KDramas have 32 but not really.

Sorry, I got that wrong. The show is there, but no subs. I thought they were starting on them, but looks like no.

Why does Prime have a content warning of Violence? How violent is the drama?Edit: TLIYE is available on Kocowa…
It's not very violent. Typical Korean daily drama stuff. Some slaps, a few punches, nothing very realistic or graphic. No kimchi even. One person in the family died before the start of the show (not a spoiler) and there is a flashback to the minutes before it happened but not the death itself.

Of all the bad tropes in dramas, the one I hate the most is "I'm breaking up with you for your own good but I won't tell you the real reason so you get no say in anything. You might have been ok with things but I don't have enough respect for you to give you agency in your own life."

Ugh, hate it SO much!!

I feel bad for SJ and the way KJ is treating him whitout knowing all the facts yet. SJ looks so alone and he cares…
Why didn't SJ tell KJ everything when they talked then? He just cried and let KJ keep believing all his assumptions.

A lot of commenters have noted and I totally agree that KY should keep his distance from Hae Mi. Even KY’s grandfather…
I totally agree with you that it's detrimental to Hae Mi to continue to see Kyung Jun, but I give him a pass in this situation. He was named in the note, so of course he's just trying to do the right thing. Other people around him should be stepping up and acting like adults, instead of just blaming everyone else and not facing reality. Or avoiding the situation. He and his brother can't blow their noses without 3 people in that house being all up in their business. Now they're basically ignoring things? And don't get me started on HM's parents.

I’m 85 episodes in and contemplating of dropping but before that I’d like to ask if this drama has a happy…
This is only my opinion, but I would bet money on a happy ending. I think if the writers were going to give YY a sad ending they would have let her be a lot happier up to this point. A "pull the rug out from under you" situation. I think all the misery is leading up to the relief of finally (!!) things turning out well for the main CP. I'll be upset if after 124 episodes of misery we get a sad ending. Again, just my opinion.

I don’t know how things work in Korea, could someone please tell me if it is customary to resume a position…
And keeping her in a position of authority over someone she blames for her attempt? That's nuts. I saw in the preview that KJ's dad is going to send her to China.

Why does he have to go see her in the hospital? These people are insane. People are blaming themselves except…
If I was Kyoung Jun, I would make sure Hae Mi stayed a legally enforceable 500m away from me! F this going to see her in the hospital. Her parents should keep her isolated from anyone triggering, positive or negative, for her own mental health. But the mom is more interested in being vindictive than helping her daughter.

I would think by now she would have come to her senses, but HM just doesn't give up. Move on already!
Se Jun is way better looking. I'd switch brothers in a heartbeat. 🤣🤣

HM and HH are two deranged women!!! I really hope KJ does not break his engagement with YY because of HM's stupid…
I don't have high hopes that the writers will handle this well. We're already seeing Hae Mi and her mom blame everyone but HM for HM's mental state. The mom was even asking who was going to "compensate" HM for her broken heart as if she was the victim of a hit-and-run accident.

The last daily I watched was Golden Mask, and there was a very mentally unbalanced woman who threw herself down stairs to frame her love interest's gf for murder. She then faked paralysis to guilt the guy into marrying her.

So I think these topics are just treated as another trope in daily dramas, much as they are in North American soap operas.

I almost got SML syndrome at the beginning of the show, but then they gave him really terrible hair and, even worse, he yelled at the FL for having a moment of weakness. I realized that he was not that nice of a person after all. I'm not done the show yet but I'm actually rooting for the ML. I freaking can't believe it.

This History is really different. The whole overexaggerated acting, and the melodrama - it's like someone was…
Since the first episode, I've been feeling like this is a throwback to History1: My Hero. Remember it had that weird fairy guy and the gf's soul went into another guy's body? The whole thing felt low budget and kinda similar to this one.

Title The New Employee Spoiler
In the manhwa, Seunghyun applies for a permanent position on the team but doesnt get it. Jonghcan blames himself…
All this plus tons of smut.

People in the office don't know about them except the same friends from the drama.

Just a lot more office politics and maneuvering as EFXX has mentioned. It wasn't clear at one point if either of them would keep their jobs.

Title The Love in Your Eyes Spoiler
In these daily dramas, the writers generally pound down the FLs way past the breaking point. I think it's to make…
Oh my word you just made me think of something. I was thinking that Dong Ha's situation is nothing like Hae Mi's because Dong Ha's mom had all that incentive to pushing him into marriage. She wanted revenge, she wanted their company and financial assets. But Hae Mi's dad is actively trying to stop her from pursuing Kyoung Jun and trying to stop his wife from meddling as well.

But here's where I went into conspiracy mode. It's pretty obvious that they're setting up Hae Mi's dad for some kind of financial trouble at work. What if this gives him the motivation to change his mind and try to push them together? If he feels he needs KJ's money or family influence to get him out of trouble? If he changes his mind then there could be a lot more pressure for HM and KJ to get together, and of course they would trick KJ somehow. I really hope I'm wrong about this. But there are still 45 episodes left. Anything can still happen.
