People that played with that can telephone thing that both Kos use to communicate with each other at their window,…
String can phones do work. It is about a 3rd or 4th grade science thing, so a little strange to see it here. The string needs to be very tight between the cans while sepaking.
I don't think I've ever watched a show that has made me feel this deeply. It captivated me from the very moment…
the story follows Tanrak, an exceptional seminarian whose unwavering faith is shaken when he unexpectedly falls in love with another man. At a time when homosexuality was condemned and regarded as something shameful, his love became the very thing that challenged everything he had believed about himself, his faith, and his future.
Two points here.
One, this is a Catholic high school not a seminary. Tanrak, and the other boys are not seminarians (Ie. seminary students). The boys are in their final year of the secondary education process. Some will be going on to college for standard career paths, others may even not even continue schooling. A final group, which Master Phak noted was going to be less than 5 students.
Second, I did some quick research on homosexuality in the 1990s in Thailand. It appears that Bangkok was similar to the gay and lesbian scene in most of the major American cities (I lived in NYC in the 1990s and was very aware of the G&L culture across the country. I ran a gay marketing business during the 1990s and early 2000s).
The school appears to be very insulated and students are not allowed to leave the grounds, except for vacation time with family, so I do think there is some insular shielding on what is happening in the real world, just outside their gates. (We do not even know where the school actually is supposed to be.)
I do think Barth was educated on what it meant to be gay as he came to the school late in has schooling. The show did not get into the issue with Tanrak. I think it is the one flaw of the program
I wouldn't call it pride, it's more of an ordinary rainbow
The Rainbow flag was created in 1978 in San Francisco and has always been referred to a pride flag. The New York Parade has been organzied by Heritage of Pride since 1984. I think 1985 was my first NYC parade I attended.
The rainbow flag or pride flag (formerly gay pride flag) is a symbol of LGBTQ pride and LGBTQ social movements, as well as a peace symbol. The colors reflect the diversity of the LGBTQ community and the spectrum of human sexuality and gender. Using a rainbow flag as a symbol of LGBTQ pride began in San Francisco, California, and subsequently became common at LGBTQ rights events worldwide.
BTW, the NYC Gay Pride Parade is tomorrow, Sunday, June 28, 2026. I have not been since 2000 when I moved to Maine.
Love TutorYim as a couple so really enjoying this show, sometimes a bit cringe but still fun. I just think with…
They are not a new couple. They have been paired together for 4 years. They have done NC scenes in a couple of their other shows, Not sure why this production company is playing the flirting game, but not actually having NC scenes. Copy A Bangkok is not shy about NC scenes. They produced PeachTrap which had multiple NC scenes.
i think he just decoded what achi wrote to him previously
Yes, I used a translate app to show that Augar "if I score a 3 point shot, I'll confess my feelings to you". So he did some heavy foresnic work to decipher what was under the whiteout without distrubing the whiteout. He can be samrt when he needs to be. (Remember this was the 1990s)
I love your commentary here. When Yim started at Dumundi, he was the epitome of a twink and one would have expected…
I think you misunderstood some of my comments. The cameo in the music video happened in 2021, almost 5 years ago. They have since been paired together in at least four shows as the leads or support cast. I assume that Yim is still the bottom in the relationship. It is just that he has grown larger and bulkier than Tutor, who has changed very little.
The cameo was planned, I assume as a soft introduction. Dumundi does not do anything by chance. As much as they want to make it look like some pairings were spontaneous, they are all planned out before introduction.
I went into ChermChey with my “cultural studies brain” turned on and my “Is this good TV?” brain parked…
I love your commentary here. When Yim started at Dumundi, he was the epitome of a twink and one would have expected him to stay that way for several years. Nature had other plans and like some other young actors* he is growing up to be more masculine and muscular. Tutor on the otherhand has almost become more feminine.
This is the earliest I can find of Yim https://youtu.be/ApAl2K-6bl0?t=205, there is a reference that he had just joined the company before the video was done. Tutor apparently joined sometime after as his first music video is exactly 9 month later. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBdloheozy8 Yim make a cameo at the end of the video forecasting that they will be paired.

I love this show and I love them both.
