This show has flown completely under the radar. I just learned today that Tutor and Yim have a new show and it is already airing. Will be watching it soon!
They have listed as being rebroadcast on a Hong Kong-based over-the-top, subscription video on demand, streaming television service. Just looked into the channel to find they do not service the USA. I hope Gagaoolala picks it up.
is satang gonna be part of this or he'll just sang a ost?
He sings the ost that Boy Sompop wrote and produced. Full circle back to New and Love By Chance and Until We Meet Again. He also wrote Shake from Love Sick I and used in Love Sick II
anyone know the name of the actor with curly hair who plays the 4th member in qins band? anytime hes on screen…
In the special clip 8 they introduce him. Plawin is a student at the school they are filming at. Plawin is playing Plawin. In the show, Plawin is playing the Piano, but is actually a drummer. There is actually a 5th band member they completely ignore who is the Bass player.
Does anyone know the name of the Jazz song from EP 11? Loved that scene and the song...
There were two different songs, the first had the lyrics
"If you look up at the sky one day" and "Happiness Will find you". The second lyric brough up a Barry Manilow song, but I don't think that is it. I suspect the music director threw some lines and music together.
The other appears to be
“Cup of Tea” by Kacey Musgraves is an American Country song.
"Cup of Tea" was written by Josh Osborne, Kacey Musgraves, Shane McAnally. Released in 2015 as part of the album Pageant Material.
Strange they used a country song in a setting of a Jazz Showcase. I suspect they got the song cheap. The original song does not have the last line they used, "Your my cup of tea".
Personally, I don't think he is a very good jazz singer. As the eariler character noted, he has no emotions.
Can someone confirm that I am pairing the names correctly. Not a single source lists who plays who for the second lead. Li Ming & Ouyang Han [Cheng Hao & Huang Huai Ting]
So they were not allowed to be gay in the past right?
Not correct. the term, gay is a modern concept so saying gay would not have made sense to them. The term, homosexual only dates to 1886. The problem would be more likely that Phop is expected to marry and produce heirs.
This short piece summarizes the concept in the period.
Thailand Homosexuality has been recorded in Thailand since the Ayutthaya period (1351 to 1767 CE). Royal concubines were known to have lesbian relations as recorded in the ‘Samutthakhot Kham Chan’, a treatise from the same period. Temple murals depicting male and female same-sex couples have also been discovered.
The term kathoey is used to refer to those of the third gender, neither male nor female but another gender entirely. This concept is assumed to have evolved from Thai creation myths and Hindu-Buddhist mythology.
let me pause yalls roleplay because i need ppl to explain something to me. was dean actually a sex worker? but…
At the current exchange rate, 15,000 Baht is $458 US. Only the very rich are going to pay that amount to drink with someone. After drinks activity would be expected.
