I don't think Lu is a spy because the way he keeps looking at the stuff is way too obvious; he would make a terrible spy.

It's possible that jealousy will turn LTG into a villain, just like the SML in WoL. He's already a bit mentally unstable and his obsession with RX could easily push him over the edge.

I think so too. The Empress seemed resigned to her fate and asked Xin to leave, live a good life, etc. I think that would only happen if it was the Emperor who wanted her dead. If it was someone else who tried to kill her, she would want to survive.

If that happens, she has a good excuse to "return" to the Scarlet Guard (with her disguised face) and investigate the traitor.

They don't know that he knows her true identity. I think they think he can't be trusted because he's in love with her which clouds his judgement.

That's some bad faith on the part of NYZ's "brothers" who attacked RX. They've clearly suspected her of being a spy for a while now, but instead of telling their trusted and respected "big brother" about their findings, they chose to hide it from him and try to lynch her behind his back. That seems to me like neither trust nor respect.

This story is about secret agents of kingdoms, not jianghu sects. But the martial arts sequences are very good, much better than recent adaptations of the condor heroes trilogy.

Well LSS is a way bigger star than LYN (no offence to him; it's just a fact that he's a relative newbie in the biz compared to her), so the odds are in her favour here. In fact, I was rather surprised that they didn't pair her with a more veteran actor as her love interest.

Thankfully they didn't dumb down the FL's character at all in WRTW, even though YY arguably had more star power than ZLS, but they did give his side of the story significantly more screen time than hers.

She was otherwise really smart and could take care of herself, but... I lost track of how many times she got kidnapped 🤦‍♂️

I just finished Wonderland of Love and was frustrated that they made the FL a damsel in distress way too often for a supposed military general, just to give the ML a chance to save her over and over again.

Well in T&C she was a jaded 500-year-old who had nothing to live for except retrieve her dead master's body, so her lack of expression made sense lol.

I haven't started watching yet, but judging from the trailer she's a badass assassin who used to be leader of a kingdom's spy organization, so I seriously doubt she's a trope-y character. Besides, this is the lead actress' comeback drama. She used to be one of the biggest stars in c-drama-land, and she always played strong characters, so if she wants to make a career comeback I'm sure she wouldn't choose a disappointing role.

RY seems to have clairvoyant abilities even without using the map (e.g. the falling sign incident) though, so bringing down the uncle and the astrology department may not hurt RY quite as much as she thinks it would. We also know that she won't follow through on her plan to reunite with her family (i.e. kill herself) after she cleans up the court because she will have a child and they will end up together.

Yes, her senior brother from her sect wants her for himself (though on the surface he appears to respect her wishes), and her enemy's son seems to be into her as well.

The latest revelation means JL and Emperor are facing a huge snag in their plans. The mission to steal the military token failed because the bad guys have a clairvoyant on their side, and they currently do not. They need RY's help, but he has a painful decision to make.

The game doesn't even have health power ups lol. But he (Shen Yi) is the boss so of course he designed the character based on himself to be extra perfect.
