Their (her and the Emperor's) task will be very difficult. There are only two of them, and both are under close watch by their respective uncles. It will be almost impossible for her to go to the southern border to gather her family's army, or build a new one, without the treacherous officials knowing. Unless maybe she takes advantage of an assassination attempt to fake her own death?

RY accidentally goes to a casino, and the guy who was helping him gamble said that the place is owned by the Prince Regent. If there's an evil Regent, that means the new Emperor is currently just a figurehead and has no real power, which would explain why the nice and innocent former Crown Prince who liked HJL so much would do this to her family... it's not his decision at all.

Before I started watching I wasn't sold at all on the plot, so I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying this.

The AI bot character is just cuteness overload! Most female characters who try too hard to be cute end up being annoying and childish, but this is cuteness done right. She is just so damn adorable in every single way.

It's not really time travel but travel between different dimensions. The spiritual realm that she travels into is virtual (created by computer code).

It seems like ML's brother likes her but never did anything about it.

You're right, I only watched up to 24 and it does end very abruptly.

I don't know why but Feng Baobao's robot face is just so damn endearing.

It's a happy ending.

I didn't bother counting the lanterns or try to figure out who they represented, so this is very helpful.

Actually I'm watching without subs, so I only understand around 70%

Of course it's not just two people. The Chinese title of the drama is "Nine People of Justice" - so there are going to be nine of them in total. So far, as of episode 8, we have five, with a sixth just appearing.

I love the wuxia x mystery genre so I'm enjoying this despite the short format which doesn't usually do suspense/investigations justice. Though it seems to be just one big case so the pacing is actually quite slow/normal. If I had one complaint, it's that everyone's makeup is too heavy/excessive to the point of being distracting. They look more like they're in an opera than a drama.

What is the ending song, does anyone know?

The story is very good (same as the original, unlike Truth or Dare). The drama is watchable but not amazing. The people who hate it are the people who have watched the original, and this remake is not as good.
