Can someone tell me why fei liu is not here in this s2? Did he die or just has not been included? Because lin…
This story takes place decades after the first season. Fei Liu is most likely dead from old age. The only two surviving characters from the first season are Xiao Tingsheng (the son of Prince Qi) and Lin Chen (Mei Changsu's friend who Fei Liu is afraid of). The latter is likely over 100 years old at this point.
can someone tell me if there is a anoying 2fl or that the ml wants a second wife?\
No, at one point 2fl pretends to like ml to make fl jealous, but that was to make them get together for real instead of a fake contract marriage. Once fl and ml are together they will be bffs.
She's a former idol, which means she's famous more for her looks and singing rather than her acting skills, just like Ju Jingyi. That's not to say that former idols can't be really good actors too, but their fame precedes them and they get good roles regardless of their talent. Honestly, the only serious/good actors in the main cast are Baron Chen and Zoey Meng. Joseph Zheng is a former idol too, and his acting is average at best. Liu Yuning is also famous as a singer, but his acting skills are kinda meh.
though they are quite well known internationally, they are only -b -c list in china
Still. Love and Redemption was one of the biggest dramas. Maybe she is following the footsteps of Li Yitong, super talented but basically the female Nicholas Cage of Chinese dramas (taking every job she can get) lol.
is Feng Xi the mysterious person who gave the flute to Dong Yue in the first episode ? and was he pretending to…
Sort of. As far as I understand, the mysterious "person" is Feng Xi's spirit after he died during one of the timelines. But he really didn't know her when they met "again" because she traveled back in time, to a time before they met.
The lead actor and actress have another detective drama together that's coming in the near future! But this time it's a contemporary drama, not historical. So we can think of them as Chu Chu and His Highness reincarnated to solve crimes in the modern world hahaha.
Okay, maybe I have to know that who is Chu Chu basically? Who are her actual parents?
Chuchu's father was a general who served under the ML's biological father, the Military Governor who was framed for treason by the evil eunuch. (He was secretly adopted by the princess, who pretended that he and his brother were twins, but Chuchu could tell that they weren't real brothers based on their facial bone structure.) Chuchu's mother, the SML's mother, and the princess were besties.
I just finished watching this like a month ago and I honestly can't even remember what it's about. I don't remember disliking it exactly, but it clearly wasn't good enough to be memorable. I'd expect this kind of mediocre drama from young newbies, not from talented, high calibre actors/actresses like YBY and ZYC.
Is the FL going to act childish and talk like this the whole drama? As far as I'm aware no 16 year old act like…
Remember, she was born with her six senses missing, or at least severely impaired, so she is not a normal 16 year old. You can think of her as retarded lol... but as she gains each of her senses back, she becomes more and more normal.
Is this drama good/recommended? Just finished WRTW and need something else to watch :)
Compared to most other dramas it's quite good and enjoyable, but compared to how absolutely amazing it could've been, it's a tragic disappointment. I think WRTW had the potential to be a lot better too. LOF is like WRTW minus the politics, war, and fantastical elements. LOF has somewhat better fight choreography, but WRTW has way better CGI. I would still recommend it as something fun to watch, despite the plot holes and bad editing.
I'm looking forward to Heroes, which starts airing today, but I probably won't start watching it until it's almost finished airing, so I don't have to keep waiting for new episodes. The leading actor/actress are known more for their looks than their acting, but they're not bad either.
really did not deserve to become empress. She is a red flag that history will repeat itself. And umm can someone…
Hua is not actually that evil though. Yes she is scheming and ambitious, but unlike Queen Baili, her plots are more deceptive and devious rather than murderous and cruel. And she has been pretty upfront about wanting to become a queen/empress ever since she was a child. She wants what she wants and makes no apologies.
The idea that the territories were "combined" into one big "country" is kinda misleading though, because the idea of "country" didn't really exist in imperial China. The emperor didn't rule over China; he ruled over "everything under the heavens," i.e. the entirely earthly realm. China was not one country amongst many; it was the centre of the world (China literally means "central kingdom"), and all kingdoms/territories outside it are still part of the empire, because again, the empire consists of the entire human world.
So there was never really a question about whether all six states should be united as one. It was only about who got to be emperor and rule over the world (and also realizing in retrospect that feudal lords having their own military power was a really bad idea). Either Lanxi and Xiyun submit to Huang Chao (which is what happened), or Huang Chao submit to them. Having someone else rule over their territories was never an option.
Ok there's one thing I don't understand. They knew each other when they were kids, and then they met again when they were teenagers (in the forbidden hall with the portraits of the founding fathers). When they met yet again in the martial arts world, they didn't recognize each other... so how much time passed, such that their looks completely changed? Then they wandered around the world for 10 years before getting tangled up in all the political stuff. And yet they are still young? How old are they supposed to be? The timeline doesn't seem to add up. If the encounter in the ancestral hall never happened, and when they met in the martial arts world, they hadn't seen each other since they were kids, then it would make sense (debut in jianghu as teenagers, spend 10 years wandering, and now they're in their 20s).
