I have realised that the moment I start thinking and questioning things logically, I start losing interest in many popular dramas. I've heard people raving about LLTG, like POB, and I just couldn't continue after a 1000th time someone called the FL naughty or I'll behaved without any proof about it through scenes or acting. They just kept on telling this over and over, instead of showing it. In POB, the logic is getting laughable and the romance part is not resonating that much with me anymore since it's kind of not superimposing with the characters that they created in the earlier episode. Like the clueless and hesitant WS is not sitting right with me when I first believed him to be clever, intense and being able to read the FL like a book. Hence even when I tried to shut off my brain and just enjoy the romance, ep 19 and 20 kind of bored me on that front too. Maybe binging would have made it better.

I think I will watch NIF someday definitely. As for journey to love, I dropped it when she started asking him for a baby. There was a scene that was definitely giving rapey vibes, I couldn't continue after that 🙈

Yes that's what I've heard too! First 5 episodes of POB were good, now it's veering into the okay category for me .

I have watched blossom and enjoyed it, one of the few cdramas that I watched till the end. LLTG, I dropped, it started getting repetitive for me at around ep 15

I really want to get into it because I've heard it's one of the greatest dramas from China. Also it sounds right up my alley. I will definitely check it out when I have more patience haha.

I don't mind lighthearted romance, some of my favourite dramas are lighthearted rom coms, like Unforgettable Love. It's just that, the packaging and PR should not lead me astray. Otherwise it seems disingenuous to me and prevents me from completely immersing in the story as the expectations are different. I wasn't going to check out Youthful Glory, not because I don't like lighthearted romance, but because SWL is not my cup of tea, I struggle to fully grasp his acting. I might check out JOL as I've heard that is an intelligent drama and since the season 2 is also out, I will not have to suffer through the cliffhanger hehe.
As for LNF, I am waiting for good subs but I've already spoiled myself with the cutest special episode ever 😍

I heard mixed reviews about the double. Is it really good then? I hear that also has some problems with logic like POB?

Hehe I was just going through the comment and this is the third time I'm seeing the comment above about losing interest in ep 1. Although they did say HYX is a good actress, which she is. Rest is personal preference and the questionable script.

So does that mean her feelings of infatuation are not real and she's in fact pretending to gain his trust? For what purpose?

Yes the bgm took me out.....I thought it was a dream sequence for a second. And the next scene is ML announcing about his demise like nothing happened, no explanation needed , he was just some random uncle and not his biggest foe within the family.

There are so many inconsistencies in the way the FL and ML are written. I thought we are getting someone dark and ruthless like Gong Shang Jue from My Journey to You when I watched the trailer. But that was almost completely abandoned in the first few episodes and he became a big softie. Nothing against that but expectations were completely different. These inconsistencies and logical loopholes are making it difficult to immerse completely in the story. There's no hook for me anymore, even the acting and chemistry is not working for me to keep me going back eagerly. I just check it out because I have nothing to watch right now

That's fine but the his death scene was almost comical in its rushed execution and playful bgm 😶
