The rumoured FL has changed again. Today it is Hu Yi Xuan. I hope it is her. I think DW and HYX would look good together and create a stellar CP . Fingers crossed.

It boggles my mind that China has such amazingly talented people who are casted in dramas so infrequently. On the other hand, seemingly mediocre actors are doing drama after drama, getting overworked and producing less than satisfactory results. Chinese industry really needs a revamp so that quality acting is given priority and not the popularity of actors. I really wish WRC gets an amazing script that really helps him showcase his amazing acting skills to the fullest.

I don't know how to feel about Liu Xin as a character. In the past timeline he is shown as a very selfish and corrupt character, even one who deliberately takes advantage of Rulan and in fact is judgmental towards her. He is not a righteous person and his reasons for taking revenge on Wu Lian are purely personal and selfish, nothing to do with seeking justice for Rulan or the other girls. I'm conflicted about him being the second most important character in the story.

I guess I still have a filter of his young boy role in CQL. I hope they come up with a good cp or even that she might be paired with a different actor. Although in the BTS scene I posted, it appears that these two are indeed the secondary couple.
