Absolutely loving this Drama. Last episode (34) was epic and I hate I have to wait 3 1/2 days for next.Can't wait to see war between BFX's kingdom and the newly weds combo kingdoms. Can't wait to see Prince Huang C reaction to BFX identity...and of course LangXi reaction too. But I think the former's has potential to be more interesting.
Also I found it strange that the evil Yu guy who killed BFX's teacher didn't look like he cared when she got stabbed... not even a flinch. I know he is evil and planned for dissention amongst the sect but I thought he liked her... and might not have expected her to get stabbed. What an impulsive ridiculous reaction from teachers daughter! Sorry wouldn't cut it. Didn't like that writing....too ridiculous for me.
Whacked finally for season 3. Very unsatisfying. Who is old man little ghost kid is talking about? Hoping for season 4. I dont like A Mi even though it seems writers are trying to redeem her..And I dont want to see her getting what she wants. So many questions for writers...what was all the switching around with partners¿¿¿
I am up to episode 7. I never dislike a FL character more. She is cringeworthy. Horney as hell. No backbone or talent. Biggest troublemaker without a care of ML's situation. The worst ever. The story itself is very weak.... 7 episodes in and no strength or attributes to any leading character... no valid strategy and FL cares about nothing but swooning over ML in the most disgusting ways. What the attraction is that ML gave in...please someone explain to me. What am I not seeing 🙄
I am really enjoying this drama. I am suprised because I didnt think I would in first few episodes. I applaud Jeremy once again on his acting and magnetic allure. He really draws me in with is expressions.....amazing how he shows so much without words. 2nd ML is a new actor to me and I am so impressed with him as well. The story has really captivated me. I am so drawn in at this point and anticipating each episode to drop.
I really dont like FL actress. Want to watch this but I am deterred due to her being lead.
A week later: So I managed to watch the whole thing. It was a better than average drama. Jeremy is amazing and probably one of my favorite actors for ML. I stand by my opinion of FL actress. Not that she is bad actress... but I never enjoy seeing her cast as FL. I have a hard time believing the attraction ML is supposed to feel for her. She just doesn't ever have the grace or attributes I believe to be appealing so I have a hard time being completely captivated into the story. I really didn't like the end. Didnt make any sense to me even though I understood what they were trying to do. I never like the self sacrificing trope. I also hate it when justice doesnt prevail and we see no retribution. So because of that 1/2 of the plot was worthless and unsatisfying for me.
