Oh definitely, I questioned some things he said and his phrasing about certain. I feel like this could have been more parts if he had done more extensive research. I wonder if he's mostly does his research by himself. 2. The queerbaiting hmm. I think it's his interpenetration as a gay man and how he assess BL and fujoshi material? I've actually seen some takes like this from some Chinese lgbtq+. Honestly sort of disappointed he summed up lgbtq+ media with just BL, because yes it's very popular but China has a rich gay culture. 3. I agree totally. I think more time should have been taken to create this video essay because at its base I get where he's going at, but it felt mostly superficial at times and because of the extent and amount of sources to comb through it would be more than one or two videos.

for china, search up what's going on in the video game industry there and the supposed boycott against m/m dramas to get an idea of the current climate. we just don't know how much of these regulations will stick and to what extent and for how long.
I know for western productions directors changing for shows can be common. Rarer for movies. So I don't know but a lot of rumors about filming stopping has been ongoing for tgcf because of the atmosphere.

We need to be careful with those 'melons' and entertainment news accounts, especially ones that don't share where they get info from. Funny how they often show off how accurate they got something but rarely respond when they're wrong.

It's really all unclear what is the 'inappropriate content' that has to be removed from priest's work. We will only know once and if priest re-edits them and they're unlocked. Don't get me wrong, even BG content is censored so who knows but it's mad sketchy still. 2Ha already has a lot of locked chapters that has been ongoing the past year since the announcement of the drama so yeah maybe it's been done to protect the work from being pulled. Speculations on my part.
