No he doesn't hate his ex. They just drifted apart and this caused the divorce based on what i remember, I guess that is just awkwardness that's between them after the separation.

I hope the exes in the drama won't be a problem.

In the webtoon/manhwa they divorced because they grew apart, they did love each other but their relationship wasn't like it used to be. (They were young) Their marriage lasted less than a year. Based on what I remember, they didn't show much about them, they kept things professional at work and didn't make private contact outside of work after the divorce.
(This is what i remember, Also there was NO cheating if i remember correctly)
