I meant high quality comedies. or basically historical Romcoms. Normally the slapstick rom oms are really bad in their quality. There's plenty of serious, melo kinda dramas that are highly rated.

hmm...melo genre. I was about to start this but I've got overdosed with this genre. I'm currently watching guardians of dafeng and I've got to say it's a breath of fresh air. Hope they produce more quality historical slapstick dramas in the future

I'm on episode 24 and the comedy is on another level with this one 😭🤣. After the wei slap trifecta, the king and his eunuch laughing. Normally, in a serious setting it's always the king who evilly laughs but daymn they made the scene really look like a parody 😭😂

while the start was promising, the end ran into the same problem that queen of tears did. The plot became just outright mediocre. These are proof that that even writers do have their own brain fade moments. It was good until the last 3 episodes or so but still unforgivable at this level. A 7.5 from me
