I would highly recommend the OG version. The special edition is like reading a short summary, you'll miss out…
I see. thanks. I really wanted to start this drama but put it on hold because of hearing that season 1 ending was a cliffhanger. season 2 will be the final season right?
EP14 took EP15 into bad direction with many unreasonable and questionable plot to fix but it's still ok and doable…
yeah. totally agree to that. The writer just was overwhelmed by her own writing..I guess. she had put so much heart into the previous episodes that I guess she started to trespass into the premises of being mediocre. It's a fine line that separates writing being great and just outright mediocre. But I totally enjoyed it.
I didn't think the writing for the climax, and building up to it, was bad. Just as stable as other parts of the…
yeah. its because of the superb cast performance, production quality and story that you didn't really notice. I noticed it but still enjoyed it. It felt strange at first cuz I absolutely HATE bad writing. However, I had to come to terms with it

Nope. the writing was outright bad for the last 3 episodes. But the story was good. I've written why the writing is bad in one of my previous comments. just scroll down a bit
Hmm.. it's such a strange drama. A weird drama. WHY?
Well, I always thought that with bad writing, the story will be very difficult to follow. But I was wrong. Very very wrong.
The last 3 episodes had one of the most MEDIOCRE writing I've ever witnessed ever in my time of watching kdramas ever.
However, the PERFORMANCE of the cast, production QUALITY and STORY was just too good to make this drama a BAD one. So much so...that I'm EMBARASSED to say that it's a good drama that's WORTH the TIME to WATCH.
This drama reminded me of the past Kdramas that used to air back in the day. Dramas where the rich 'chaebol' ML falls in love with a 'cinderella' kinda FL and then then loses his memory and so on. What they did here was just a gender swap but the execution of it was so good.
MAYBE we need to bring in the VINTAGE stuff back. However, with proper execution and BETTER writing (Emphasis on this tho).
A solid 9.0 from me. A hugely FLAWED drama but still a MASTERPIECE
Characters like the spy, the magic horse, the Jon snow-ish lookin fella, the strong asf neanderthal... All got a humiliating story arc.. daymn.
At the end of the show I was kinda hating it because of the how bad the execution and the writing was.
*Sigh* I wish they didn't have season 2. Would have been better.
