Yeah but it would have been nice to see what would have happened to the other god's story. It felt as if they just left it be which actually didn't harm the main story line but I would have liked to see how it would have unraveled.

Also the snake lady and the cultivator. Their backstory. I felt like this was the biggest hole. They just didn't show enough to actually make it something worthwhile watching

Yup. Really pisses me off when that happens. Cdramas are always bent on making men domineering and the female "all bark, but no bite" kinda personas.

Half and half I guess ..lol. but the drama didn't downplay her. Unlike some legend of so and so.

Hmm... Living true to it's name. For once, it's indeed the 'legend of shen li' and not 'legend of last god' 😂. Jokes aside, overall the drama is a good watch. However, I can feel the heavy episode cuts on the drama. This was definitely meant to be a 50+ episode drama. That said it's still a fantastic drama! A solid 9.0 from me.

Yeah they killed everyone off even the ones who didn't get killed in the during the whole ordeal. Lol 😅

Cuz of the air time period. The more the episodes, the more it'll take time slots. So they regulated it.

Well, it is short but not because it wanted it to be short. It's a new Chinese regulation. Dramas can have only a maximum of 40 episodes. This drama would have otherwise been a 50+ episode drama

So the ratings are improving even after it has finished...daymn

Modern Cdramas are really underwhelming in the 1st quarter of 2024. And this drama ain't an exception. How unfortunate. Another 7.0 from me

There were sparks here and there. The plot is well ... Nothing great but it had potential. It's comedy is what made it so good but once it was gone in the 2nd half, what was left was it's faults. A solid 8.0 from me.

The drama is just too fluffy. Normally dramas that have too much fluff are just dull to me. I can't say that this drama is any different. A solid 7.5 from me.

Nah. They'll probably mess it up. These kind of high budget dramas gets messed up if the budget is cut. For example chronicles of arthadal became a parody of itself in season 2

Tbh they should have 10 episodes .. the 9th should be to show how he came back from the dead. And the 10th should be the aftermath of things. The 8th episode felt like a real unfinished episode.

Should have had 9 episodes. I mean wtf.. they give a whole damn backstory and they don't explain to us how he survived?

I hope she stays healthy and happy. Man, immersing in a certain role is a trait of a great actress but that comes at the cost of one's health.

Hope she goes out, treats herself right and chills for some time.

The first half was great and episodes 9 to 11 were good as well but from episode 12 onwards, I was just thinking 'wtf, what's up with this generic plot' and then I told myself 'yeah, 16 episodes was actually too long for this drama. Should have stopped at 12'. The overall quality of the drama save the acting performance dropped significantly due to the plot.

A drama that I was willing to give a 9.5 is now a drama that I can only give a 8.5 at best.
