Well, the writing for the last 3 episodes was just *MEDIOCRE*. Why?
1) FL family should have gone with her for the surgery. At least, the parents.
2) The crossing line scene? Seriously? I mean how in da heck did the villain plan all of that and still got in time to knock ML down with his car. Not only that but he had also got a scapegoat and henchman all ready just for the crossing line scene. So absurd!
3) The FL hid in a room while trying to escape from the villain and Voila ML suddenly pops up to save her. Unbelievable?
4) Not a single doctor came to see her when she was just woke up after the surgery. wtf?
5) The police just waited until the villain pulled the trigger? Wat da? I mean seriously? However in a previous scene when ML was unarmed and just wanted to wait for his wife until her surgery was done... the policeman took out his gun and pointed at him. REALLY ?
Well, the last few episodes were okay... From episode 1 to 26, it felt refreshing to watch the drama However from episode 27 to 35, it was bit of a snoozefest. Then from episode 36 to 40, the pace was just ridiculous.
So ridiculous that they actually didn't even uncover the mastermind of the whole conspiracy.
That said, I enjoyed 2/3 of the drama.. the rest was somewhat a chore. So my final verdict is an 'okay' 8.5
That's because when that happens, the partner is considered a Second lead, no longer a Lead. For instance, Best…
Quite true. But happiness is not always the same. For the FL her daughter has become her happiness so..yeah..and I do believe that that there are better breakups than 2521 but I believe that it has a better resolution than most breakups do. And I mean true breakups ..not those 'cool down' period breakups.
Given the situation, it was actually the only way forward. He didn't even try to stop her because he knew she…
True. But I already knew the ML was actually stiff in his acting from the very beginning. He has improved. But not enough to be 'good enough' for those scenes. While on the other hand, the FLs was... Well, She's normally really good at this but her acting fell short as well. Coupled with both efforts, it was at most a very awkward breakup that felt more like an break up of an affair rather than of a pure love.
I felt the silent tears, but I think this scene lacked a bit more weight.
Exactly. That's what I meant. Tears don't portray everything. And without the emotional bg music being played it would be one of the most awkward breakups

Yup. Loved it.. story of minglan ... But then again they were never meant to be because that's the plot. For example, 2521 had the leads breakup and find their own happiness.
P.S really sad the power couple from minglan divorced. :(

I hope this trend continues. I get the feeling that this too would get fully monetized
