100% agree. Ke Lan's character is really refreshing. She's very sweet but so strong and capable. She's true to her kind and calm nature without letting people bully her.

It’s MengMeng, Ke Lam and Yu Hao in the apartment and the ex is like dropping off presents or something. Yu Hao seems to calmly tell him off but it’s not subbed so I’m not exactly sure what he’s saying

I saw the preview for the next episode and that her ex comes back so that should make for some fun lol

I like that he’s incorporating her ideals in his life and company in the meantime. Almost as if he’s training himself to be more family orientated and in that way he’LLC be ready to commit to the way she wants to live her life and he can be compatible with that life. So those are major pluses but I just hate lover separated, it just makes me sad

I just hate time jumps when characters obviously love each other. It’s definitely one of my least favorite tropes/themes. Why waste all that time you could have been together? Life is too short to waste time.

I guess it takes a long time but I only noticed it on Gao Han Yu’s list of dramas early last summer or so. It feels like it took forever to come out.

I honestly love the way he cut things off with his ex. It felt mature and respectful of the relationship they once had. But I saw there’s a time jump? And I just have issues with that. I hate time jumps.

The drunk confession helped but honestly Ep13&14 broke my heart and I’m not happy about it :(

Someone mentioned a year skip or something. Time jumps are one of my least favorite tropes so I'm not stoked about that if that's true.

Ep13 is a bit rough though. I'm only 1/2 way into and it has no redeeming scenes so far. I've just been sullen and downtrodden for 40 mins now.😩

I think people must be rating it poorly due to the subs which is really unfortunate. This drama deserves way better than that. Also, rating shouldn't be based on subs. It's not the drama's fault you (the viewer) don't speak mandarin smdh

Noo 😭 I haven’t watched yet. I got hooked on Not Me. I might finish that today before watching the new DWL episodes.

At times they are tough and leave you a little confused however as the story progresses a lot of those questions are answered through the context. If you can bare with the sometimes rough subbing then this drama is really a stand out drama. It has so much to offer.
