The hot dog stand (Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur) mentioned in episode 8 brings back some fond memories. I visited Iceland a few years ago with my family, and that hot dog was no joke, one of the best I’ve ever eaten in my life. I’d highly recommend it if you ever visit Iceland ;)

As much as I love for what you said to happen, we won’t be getting another season of “The Great Escape” sadly becuz JJY PD has long left tvN (2022) to join TEO. That’s why he’s also not the PD for “Girls High School Mystery Class Season 3” since he passed it down to someone else :(( Now we can only hope he will make another similar show with the same cast from “The Great Escape” (but I’ll say the chances ain’t high as the substitute seems to be Agents of Mystery). Maybe they can appear as guests temporary idk. “Agents of Mystery Season 2” would be more likely tbh, considering that “The Devil’s Plan” got itself an upcoming Season 2.
YESSSS the crew is back again! kinda sad that V won’t be taking part this season due to military service but i’m excited for Go Min-si as the new intern :) hopefully wooshik will banter with her since they apparently knew each other before from filming for The Witch: Part 1.

Add in “Elite League” and it will be a comprehensive list for those type of shows you mentioned. (“Society Game” could also squeeze in, tho the production isn’t exactly high quality visuals-wise).
But tbh “Agents of Mystery” belongs to a ‘different type’ of show that should only be compared with shows like “The Great Escape”, so it isn’t exactly fair to mention and compare with those imo.

I just finished it after a 3 days binge, and I’m not really feeling it this season. It doesn’t seems to have the ‘high moments’ for me—it’s just mild enjoyment through, somewhat underwhelming even. S1 >> S2?
I mean it’s still nice to see how Fan Xian navigates through all the political scheming, but thats about it for me.

Jung Jong-yeon PD? I’m definitely watching. All of his works were a blast to watch (The Genius, Society Game, The Great Escape, Girls High School Mystery Class, The Devil’s Plan).
And we have Hyeri and Karina + brainy John Park + Kim Do-hoon (actor from Moving, first time as a regular cast on a reality show).
