With the money situation she was happy. And I’m gonna take a guess and say her family dying was a result of her dodging the fate that was given to her. Because of her family never died she would’ve never gone. And although she wanted her sister to die it was like those situations where I want my little sister to disappear but when she actually does I feel worried. And also I think her family dying one by one was to slowly build that negativity in her and push her further into the direction of being the original sacrifice to become the juvenile ghost

the shaman kept MokDan alive till HyanGi came to rescue her then to create the juvenile ghost she killed MokDan in front of her because she needed her to feel anger and despair. So killing MokDan was the only way to turn HyanGi into a juvenile ghost. she needed that bad energy to come to a boiling point

But yeah. I kept saying she’s dumb. Especially when she went home. I was like you know this thing isn’t on a leash and you don’t even know how to control or suppress it so why in the world would you go to places where people can get hurt. But hey it wouldn’t be horror if common sense was applied right?😂 I for one know they could never shoot horror with me cause the slightest suspicious noise or movement I see/hear and I’m out of there. Another thing I didn’t get was Yeom is a folklore professor. And in occult if stuff like these usually there’s protection spells you put in place to either ward them off or keep ‘‘em at bay. So to me if such a possession was happening and with my knowledge of a tiff like that I’d be warding up like crazy.

Honestly I don’t even think we got full preview of what the spirit can do. I mean they kinda alluded to it. If the show was longer I feel like they could’ve explored a lot more. Cause the big question for me was why did it possess SY and what did it want from her exactly cause when she touched the hair

I guess it’s like how she saw MokDan the spirits sisters life before she died. And how she saw glimpses of the life the spirit had when she touched objects relating to her. My guess is she showed her what she will and could do to her mom which prompted her to step out of the line of prohibition to go save her mom. Which in SanYoung’s part is really dumb. Because we he spirit literally can’t touch her or anyone behind that line. Outside of it yes. But when it gets behind the line it’s confined to her body and her mind

It showed her grandmother hanging herself before she did actually hang herself. It basically gave her a preview of anyone who it'd kill and then she'd actually see who it was on it's way to kill and when it was killing them. So she was able to tell who was next at first. But from the looks of it, the spirit also got smart and would just show areas/location but not who exactly when they started getting hotter to it's identity.

and yeah you're right. She could at least prevent lock herself up just in case to prevent stuff from happening. Even if it's useless some form of prevention is better than anything.

the same way the ghost called the 112 when SY woke up in the ambulance she saw what the spirit was imagining and how to get out of the room. Remeber she can show her what’ll happen but can’t do anything if she’s bound. So she showed her an image of her mom dying and that prompted SY to step out of the line of prohibition which also allowed the evil spirit to come out. As to her being out in the day. Professor Yeon told her the spirit is only able to take control at night or on cloudy/rainy days. So even if the sun is out if it’s cloudy it can take over. As long as the sun isn’t shiny brightly that’s enough for it to be dangerous for SY to move freely. However it is able to communicate with her regardless of the time of day except safe day. But when it comes to fully taking over her body and mind, it can only do that at night or cloudy/rainy days.

With SY threatening to take her life, the spirit needs a host to inhabit. And if its current host is dead it in a way renders it helpless indirectly. Remember how it possessed her in the first place? It’ll need to do another possession or have another vessel ready for it to inhabit in order to be able to do its bidding. Killing themselves doesn’t get rid of it. The spirit still is there but it needs a host since it can’t act on its own with a “form”. It’s also tethered to the items that belonged to it when it was alive. Just like we saw when SY took the hair accessory and got possessed then on. If its vessel does, it seeks out another vessel. Preferably someone related to its first vessel as previously seen.

Also locking her up at night won’t necessarily be or use. Clearly seen today with the fire and ambulance scenario & her moms case. They all know she’s dangerous. But the spirit is also powerful. So locking her up won’t necessarily do since she’ll just find another means to escape.

at the rate this show is going I’m considering dropping it. like why is dumb and dumber get more and more screen time when they’re useless. I used to love how the resolved issues immediately usually by the 2 or 3 episode but now this is just dragging on and it’s annoying
