I hope I don't come across as attacking you because that's not my intention at all, but personally, I don't agree with this simply because she started talking to Jing again due to Xuan's push. Also, before the whole Xuan*Hou plot, if Jing became Xuan's enemy for any reason XY would abandon him because throughout the show and the novel it was made clear that XY put Xuan before everything.

No, but I feel like that's the whole point. Both she and FFB/XL can't just abandon everything. He'd never do that. If he was actually willing to do that maybe she might too because they would both be giving up a lot/something that is extremely important to them but that's never going to happen. At least that is just my opinion. I can see how one would think otherwise too though.

Ik, especially after them going to that place for a date and him telling her what he said to win the bet. GG probably saved him from living like that. I really don't think anyone in that kind of a situation would be able to just up and abandon the one that saved them for love. And Xuan is all XY really has left in this world, plus the promise they made to their elders. She can't just abandon him either. This is why I hate the whole star-crossed lover trope cause it's always so heartbreaking 😭😭😭
