Title Lost Track of Time Spoiler
"rebirth"
Reincarnation is banned in china. Reincarnation is when they are born again as a baby or when a soul of someone from a different life time enters the body of someone else. Rebirth in this drama just refers to someone being able to "restart" their life at a certain point and go back to a critical time in their life to undo certain events in the future. So for instance, Lu An Ran isn't reborn she "restarts" back to the point where she first met Mu Ze which was on the ship. I hope this explanation helps.

I'm on episode five and WHY oh WHY is she agreeing to marry the evil guy.... again. Someone please fill me in.…
Because she can't escape MZ. Her family has control over the seas and he wants to harness that as well as her knowledge about ships. So he is interested in her family and her. She can't escape him because of that. That's why she agreed to marry him again because either way he will find a way to get what he wants.

Only one thing struck me about InHye this week... episodes 3-4... what a fine young actress - she is absolutely…
The great part about watching tv shows is getting to see other people's perspective so I appreciate your perspective.

I still stand by the art thing because she doesn't know these people well enough to just be taking money from them. She seems very pragmatic so it's just a little weird to me personally.

As for the bratty teen thing, my statement wasn't specifically about her. It was mostly about how drama's go about tackling teens dealing with hardships. I wasn't calling her a brat. I was just trying to point out how a lot of times in tv shows weather it's poverty, an illness or some other hardship a lot of writers seem to have a one size fits all approach for how teens deal with things. To me that approach seems to suggest that teens are always very naïve or lacking in compassion which is strange to me. Idk maybe I didn't get that point across very well.

I love this drama a lot and I wish more people would watch it.
However, there is something that has been bothering me...
At first, I couldn't figure out why but I think I finally understand why I feel the way I do now.

What's been bothering me is the way In Hye reacts towards her sisters and their situation. Now, before I start explaining things I just want to clarify that I understand that everyone responds to things differently and that's what makes for a good tv show. I also understand that In Hye is young so there are certain things that she may not be able to grasp yet. But it still bothers me.

Okay, so the reasons In Hye bothers me so much is because of a couple of things which I will list down below.

1. In a lot of dramas when they try to show how teenagers deal with hardships they always show teens making things more difficult for other family members, or putting blame on other characters they interact with without being considerate of others and their circumstances. To me, it makes it seem as if teenagers aren't capable of compassion or that they are extremely naive about everything in this world and how the world works. I understand that this is true for some people in this world when they go through their teenage years but that isn't always the case and in almost every melodrama/drama that's the route writers take a lot when they try to tackle hardships and teens. I'm not saying everyone should be a saint and never be upset or act out but idk certain actions that they have teens take really don't seem that necessary to me.

2. In Hye clearly loves her sisters and doesn't want them to constantly have to make sacrifices for her so she's trying to find other ways to get money without burdening them. So why isn't she trying to sell her art online or get a job? I'm assuming she's at an age where she can try to work part-time. Also, selling her artwork online for some money would not be super difficult especially since youtube is a thing and she could easily look up videos on tips/what she should do to get started (I am speaking from experience). So why then must she go the route she's going? (Obviously, the route she is taking makes the drama more interesting so this question isn't really a question lol. It's something I've thought about a lot and wanted to get off my chest).

Yeah, that's basically it. Those are the main things that bother me surrounding her character. There are things that bother me about the other two too but I'd be here forever if I broke that down as well. Anyways, love the show and I can't wait for the next episodes.

After watching the latest eps, I now believe that Mu Ze is either pure evil or twisted. I find it hard to sympathize…
Same! He is so twisted it's not even funny.

Lol, Mu Ze is f***ing crazy. I knew he was crazy before but I don't think I truly grasp how crazy he was until these recent episodes. He really told Lu An Ran he's doing all these things because he hates her when really it's because of all the things that LX said plus the fact that he hates people treating him the way he treats them. And what's with him and this seducing bs? LAR did not seduce MC *insert eye-roll*. Either way, I am really excited for the next episodes. I am really wondering how LAR will get out of all of this because so far we have seen that no matter how hard she tries to change things, certain things will still end up happening.

Idk....the extra episodes felt so out of place. They did not make sense with the rest of what we have seen. I wanted them to have a happy ending but I wanted the ending to make sense and it didn't.

I'm not sure if you are referring to the comments I made but if you are let me explain some of them. If not then…
Idk... I feel like that's unlikely. Especially because with the Mu Chuan thing, he suspected him and Lu An Ran of having an affair so I think that and the other stuff would be enough for him to poison him due to jealously. As for killing her family, Mu Ze doesn't care enough about them to be against killing them. However, I do think Cai helped urge him to it because he is in love with Lu An Ran sister and she hates her family.

Thanks for sharing your stand point. Also, I definitely see where you are coming from in terms of how you feel about MuZe. A lot of his characteristics are very common among ML's in tv shows, movies, etc. I love discussing characters too! Thanks for sharing your insight. :)

I'm amazed with the comments. Like how on earth can you ever want Muze to be the actual male lead. He is a scum.…
I'm not sure if you are referring to the comments I made but if you are let me explain some of them. If not then you can ignore this.

1. I don't think that he'd be willing to fix the mistakes that he made because we have seen in the last couple of episodes why he did those things in the first place. He did them because of his relationship with his dad, wanting the throne, and avenging his mother.
2. I just wanted to see what his reaction was when she died because why not. He said he loved her in their past life and he might actually have. I never said the way he loved her was healthy or a good thing. She herself even said that he loves power more than her which is true.
3. I don't think Muze is a good person. He's clearly not. But his character is interesting. MuChuan's character is starting to get interesting in the last couple of episodes but in the first couple of episodes, he wasn't. It's nothing personal, just an opinion I had.
4. The FL is determined to get back into a relationship with Muze to save her family so all this extra stuff with MuChuan honestly did not make that much sense to me at first.
5. I honestly started watching this drama because of Jing Chao who plays Muze. He plays characters like this a lot. Sometimes he doesn't but I like his acting so I am a bit biased towards his character. Plus watching the Bts videos that I've seen, he and Xing Fei have a lot of chemistry.
6. I don't have any hatred towards the female lead at all. I like her and like I said before I understand her need to kill Muze and I hope she achieves her goal.

Hope that clears up some things. I honestly didn't think I'd upset anyone too much with what I wrote especially because I've never bashed the female lead or excused any of Muze's actions. He is a terrible person. But sometimes terrible people make great ML leads because of how complex they are and being a ML doesn't always mean that the FL has to end up with them or has to still be in love with them.

According to the episode chart, I think she's going to be forced to marry Muze again during episodes 23/24 because there is a heartbreak image.

Honestly, I am so conflicted by Muze. On the one hand, I want LAR to achieve her goal of killing him to protect her family and on the other I want them to be able to have some sort of clarity but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

It's sad really. You can tell how much Xing Fei loved Muze in the past. She remembers all his habits. And understands…
I really hope they show us his reaction to her death in their alternate life too....I kind of want them to work out in this life but he's not the main lead so ik that won't happen.

I'm so confused by Muze. It seems he's a bit more complicated than I thought. He does good things sometimes, and he cares about his subordinates sometimes but because of his situation with his father and his mother, he tends to do bad things. I really don't want him to become an evil tyrant again but it seems like it's inevitable because
1.In the MV we see him forcing Lu An Ran to marry him again
2. In the MV he's seen choking her/other horrible things
3. We also see that his relationship turns sour with his brother in the MV.

I really wonder why he decided to force Lu An Ran to marry him though. She's seen asking him why he has to marry her and he said because he hates her but with what we have seen so far I can't figure out what happens.

Seems like it's little unclear at the moment. They said there will be surprise on 7th Sep. It may not be a continuation…
I really hope it's a different ending. I feel like I would have been okay with the ending they gave if they showed us something similar to what happened with his parents.
