Side note: Where is Prince Yi, lmao. If LAR really wants to protect people she also needs to protect them from Prince Yi as well. He and MZ are bad news.
I am proud of LAR. She doesn't disappoint me lmao. There is always a good reason behind her actions and she uses her knowledge of MZ's personality very well. I appreciate MC stabbing LAR because it helped her gain MZ's trust. However, I don't think MZ's trust in LAR will last long. Honestly, I really enjoy the game of cat and mouse between them. They are definitely the most interesting characters. No shade to MC's actor, it's not his fault. His role is that of a good-natured, naive, innocent prince so his actions are somewhat understandable although frustrating.
If the poster didn't have Chuan on it, I would swear Ze is the ML. I've always thought he loved her, but he also…
At this point, I feel the same because the actual ML hasn't done much. I also think he loves her but not in a healthy way. As for the son thing, I feel like a lot of people are forgetting the interaction he had with the Xiao girl after his son was killed. He was very angry but not the way he should have been with the death of his child because at the end of the day like you said, politics is his main thing. As for the last two things, omg that would be so interesting! I wonder if the writers will go this route. Also, I've been wondering if anyone else knows as well.
I guess it’s because they expected to see Lu Anran turning the tables and it didn't Happen(at least not yet),…
Thanks for this insight. That makes sense. Honestly, there is probably still a chance for LAR to get revenge but only after to accepts the things that were meant to happen in her past life.
Guys, in the episodes before today we were already told that the purpose of her rebirth was for her to accept her fate...the narrator literally said that. So I am kind of confused as to why everyone is shocked that the things she tried to prevent are still happening. Side note, MZ is very confusing. I thought the whole point of marrying her was to torture her, especially with the way he reacted when the xiao girl was initially upset. He smiled after she left so I thought he was pretending to be affectionate. Then he gives this whole speech to LAR and says he doesn't want her to be a corpse. He needs to make up his mind about what he wants from her. As for MC, I am very disappointed in him. You know the situation with LXR and MZ, you know about all of LAR's struggles and that she went to see the emperor. After she saw the emperor her attitude towards you completely changed. Anyone would be able to put two and two together despite what she said to him and especially because she looked in pain. Honestly, at this point, I don't want her to end up with either of them. I hope in the end she's able to keep her brother safe and her lu family (her clan) from being beheaded because at this point that's all that matters.
I really feel bad for LR. She has no way out. The king is forcing her hand and forcing her to stay away from MC. MZ is forcing her to marry him and previously before the whole MZ situation MY was trying to force connections with the Lu family as well. She never stood a chance. After watching these new episodes things are making more sense now. She didn't get rebirth the fix things in the past. She got rebirth so that she would be forced to accept her fate which she did not want to accept in her previous life.
Back to MZ, I feel like his plan is going to be to treat LR really well so that his now princess consort will torment her. She doesn't deserve any of this. Another side note...lmao Jing Chao is so fine lolol.
I can't figure out if I actually like the plot or if I am just thirsty. Lmaoo. Also, I've seen the female lead in a couple of other things and I love her. Honestly, I think this is a nice short drama to pass the time. So far I'm not super annoyed with any character so far. The one thing I can't understand though is why the male lead doesn't tell the female lead what's going on.
Reincarnation is banned in china. Reincarnation is when they are born again as a baby or when a soul of someone from a different life time enters the body of someone else. Rebirth in this drama just refers to someone being able to "restart" their life at a certain point and go back to a critical time in their life to undo certain events in the future. So for instance, Lu An Ran isn't reborn she "restarts" back to the point where she first met Mu Ze which was on the ship. I hope this explanation helps.
I'm on episode five and WHY oh WHY is she agreeing to marry the evil guy.... again. Someone please fill me in.…
Because she can't escape MZ. Her family has control over the seas and he wants to harness that as well as her knowledge about ships. So he is interested in her family and her. She can't escape him because of that. That's why she agreed to marry him again because either way he will find a way to get what he wants.
Only one thing struck me about InHye this week... episodes 3-4... what a fine young actress - she is absolutely…
The great part about watching tv shows is getting to see other people's perspective so I appreciate your perspective.
I still stand by the art thing because she doesn't know these people well enough to just be taking money from them. She seems very pragmatic so it's just a little weird to me personally.
As for the bratty teen thing, my statement wasn't specifically about her. It was mostly about how drama's go about tackling teens dealing with hardships. I wasn't calling her a brat. I was just trying to point out how a lot of times in tv shows weather it's poverty, an illness or some other hardship a lot of writers seem to have a one size fits all approach for how teens deal with things. To me that approach seems to suggest that teens are always very naïve or lacking in compassion which is strange to me. Idk maybe I didn't get that point across very well.
