I think we will get a happy ending. I'm very hopeful and excited again.
Yeah, I saw that but I'm choosing to believe that's not her dying and that's just her being momentarily weak. Plus if you listen to some of the dialogue that happened around that scene, it was misleading as he said that stuff before those scenes. And there are still the pictures of him wearing red and them getting married.
In previews for the upcoming episodes, jinghe punches that man for getting his wife killed. I'm so happy cause I've been wanting to slap him for awhile. I can't wait for the next set of episodes! So excited.
We get unhinged jinghe back and an interesting plot.
wait so why aren't they together anymore and why is she with the other guy now?
It was explained in previous episodes but here's a summary:
1. YQ blackmailed the priestess and got her to say that his future wife/goddess was in the other country and that she could help with the emperor's goal to achieve immortality.
2. He had no idea what was going on but had already decided he would successful be able to bring ml back with him without even asking her feelings.
3. Once he got back, the situation with the crown princes was occuring and he was able to convince mrjh that he would not be able to protect ml and that only he could protect her as his wife since the old cp would not be able to kill a foreign nation's crown princess.
4. So mrjh gave in, told ml the truth about the poison in a hurtful way and watched yq take her away to safety.
5. mrjh ends up willing the fight last min because lm finally comes to her senses. So now, everything he did was unnecessary.
6. YQ lies and makes it seem like the crown princess thing only came about to save ml and that if she does not go back with him, he'll be killed. She's friends with him, so to save her friend who "saved" her, she agrees.
7. They now have an agreement that once the engagement is successful, the treatment for her poison works and he gains his father's trust, ml will be set free and be able to pick where she wants to go.
That's why she's with yq. To repay him for "saving" her, to save his life, and for the cure to her poison.
Love coming to this comment section cause y'all always validate what I'm feeling 😂😂😂 although I hate where the plot is going, I haven't enjoyed a comment section like this in so long.
Also side note, YQ is working my last nerves. The way he tried to stop ML from going back to help MRJH, his snarky remarks in the previews for the next episodes. I honestly want to slap this character. And lm, I've already said this before but her character was so disappointing.
Like wtf was that jail conversation? Why would he tell you he liked you when you randomly started liking him out of nowhere after you ran after mrjh during your wedding? I'm wondering what they put in that smoke from before like everyone else because she changed so much.
As for the emperor, I'm still stuck on how in the previous episodes he had the audacity to be like "I've walked this path before" and then be shocked at how the cp acted. You let lm visit him in jail and give him a merciful death when he killed so many people, tried to kill his brother, and tried to kill you TWICE!!! WTF.
Since the beginning, the emperor doesn’t care MJH at all. I don’t forget how he choose to turn a blind eye…
And some of the characters in the show had the audacity to say that MRJH was his favorite son. Please, how is he his favorite when he keeps letting the cp do and get away with any and everything.
She is marrying him because he told his dad he is bringing this goddess . His father believes too much in this…
I'm most excited for that cause there's a clip in the mv that follows that scene where her and mrjh are back together, well I'm assuming they are because they makeout.
