She is marrying him because he told his dad he is bringing this goddess . His father believes too much in this…
I watched and saw the explanation but I was confused because he did all that goddess stuff even before stuff went down with the crown prince and the emperor got sick. But your additional explanations helped clarify some things so thank you.
I'm so confused...so is she still marrying yq to get away from mrjh because of what he revealed to her in the past episode? Also, why is yq now pretending like she didn't get assigned to be his crown princess due to him. He's telling her he'll do everything to give her freedom/not trap her in the position when she got the position in the first place due to him. He's manipulative.
!!! She saved him once and he's now stuck on her. That makes no sense. Especially given that allegedly, her family used to be slaves on his property. So you never noticed her ever until then? Okay...
Lmao, also, LXJ saying he believes she'll come around is funny because no sir, she won't. While you're waiting, LS is making his moves.
Tbh, I like LXJ's villain character. It's interesting and the actor is doing a good job. Definitely different from novel him but an interesting change nonetheless. I was slightly annoyed before but then I remember someone pointing out that if they kept him the same, he'd be no different from the ml and that's true. That would make the show confusing. Anyway, I'm enjoying all the changes they made so far and enjoying the drama.
I'm hoping they don't waste the last couple episodes on this character. I like the actor but I'm not a fan of 2ml. He's interrupting the time my favs could be spending together. I get that he's needed for angst but still.
It depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for true enemies to lovers this really isn't the show…
There's not really much killing between them though. For that kind of drama I would suggest love and bid farewell. It's mainly 'consider killing me, working together, kiss me, love me, misunderstandings, love me'. And that's not a bad plot but if someone starts watching this for revenge, intense hatred or political aspect, I feel that they would be disappointed.

I need tonight's episode immediately. ML knows why mrjh said the things he said so I need to know why she still leaves and how he ends up following them. I also want to know what the emperor is going to do to the cp son of his.
It depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for true enemies to lovers this really isn't the show for you because it's more so misunderstandings to lovers. Additionally, some parts of the plot are...hmm...but I feel like it's worth watching because I love the chemistry between the leads/their acting and the cinematography is nice. Additionally, the action scenes are good as well. But tbh, if I were you, I'd just wait for all the episodes to air before watching it because the 1 episode a day is killing me.
I was bawling along with the duke when Yining finally called him βfatherβ. I lost my dad last year, so that…
I was so happy when she called him that. It made me teary eyed as well. I love when cdramas portray familial relationships in such a heartwarming way. Also, I'm sorry for your loss.
