Personally, I didn’t enjoy their romance, especially in an action and war drama. From the beginning to the middle,…
I saw people on douyin calling her cp queen and tbh I agree, at least for her costume dramas, not sure about modern. But she tends to have decent or amazing chemistry with her costars in costume dramas which is nice because I hate watching shows where it feels like the lead character who are supposed to be in love are not.
I keep replaying their wedding night scene and keep crying. It's probably the saddest cdrama wedding night I have ever seen. Him crying into her hair and her turning around to cry. I just can't. Watching him grief for her even before she's gone and her trying to remain positive despite the fact that she's the one that's dying...I love them so so much. I'm so obsessed with them as a couple.
Another favorite scene of mine is when she's "dead" and he says that she's stubborn and doing this to scare him. He looked so crazy 😂 but so sweet.
I think I'm going to rewatch their village arc to cheer myself up 😂
ML had to endure 10 years of suffering to train to be an assassin. She herself said she had to forget how to cry…
Yeah, I get that people are sad they weren't together for longer but it doesn't make sense to just dismiss her feelings because by ep 29, given what we know, it's one of the few things that makes sense with the scriptwriting.
He loved her so much, can't say the same about her. It feels like he loved her so much more than she loved him.…
ML had to endure 10 years of suffering to train to be an assassin. She herself said she had to forget how to cry and learn to endure all types of things. She also stated her resentment at her master in for all of that in the first couple of episodes when she had no idea that the person behind all that was mrjh. Then to top it off, he tells her in a hurtful way and forcefully sends her away to yq. Despite understanding why he did what he did, she's upset rightfully so. Then cue the xiyan arc and everything she has to go through. At that point, she's probably just tired of it all. It's not hard to understand why she wants to leave her ml identity behind and forget everything. Anybody in her situation would be angry, probably even more angry than she was. Especially if they only knew the details she knew at that point. She didn't know about the leeches etc.
