Anyone watching this? How is the drama so far? Enough romance? Annoying second lead? Any misunderstanding?
One of the highlights of this drama so far is good communication. So no, there isn't any misunderstandings as of yet. The romance is good enough for me and the second male lead has been MIA for awhile now so...yeah.
This is not a kdrama and it's in a historical setting...but where is the white truck of doom when you need it....…
I saw that too! My moots on Twitter are thinking the same and that better not happen. If she gets married twice, please let it be to the second male lead ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ or to GYX twice. That's fine too. Lmaooo. That man needs to stay tf away from my girl.
Last comment, I hope they don't drag out the eventual ending of the emperor cause tbh I don't like him and I'm aware that my dislike of him is going to grow so much more in these coming episodes.
GYX knows the type of person the emperor is. He knows that the way his kids feel about him is justified because his cruelty knows no bounds. He should also be aware that he isn't that far off from being as heartless if not more than his own father. So why then is he so loyal. The emperor raising him isn't good enough of an answer for me to be honest. GYX does not seem stupid so I'm refusing be believe that he thinks he's some sort of exemption to the rule but that's what it's giving me tbh..
It's really frustrating me. I'm not saying him being grateful to him does not make sense, I'm just saying that him being will to do anything and everything despite knowing that the emperor isn't truly sincere to him is odd.
I don't remember anything about HZ being made a princess. I think people are just making that up. She does get married to him and it's not a dream sequence. Idk if they will include the coma thing but it made sense in the novel because at that point HZ had been through a lot physically and emotionally just to protect her love ones to the point where it was taking a tole on her health. Like people could visibly see how sick she was getting.
I forgot why he whipped her but she becomes the princes teacher because of the emperor. He does that so she'll be tied down to help the prince b4 having a family of her own. And the whole wanting to marry her thing comes way before this.
It's a long story but essentially she was trying to get the emperor to lie down on the "dragon bed" or whatever to finish him off/get his blessing/protection right before he died so that the empress dowager and 6th prince would not be able to do anything to her. But HZ was able to stall just enough so that she could not do that and instead servants came to present evidence against her which caused the empress dowager to bring everyone to another area where she was doing all her evil deeds. When they got there, HZ was able to get one of the hostage kids comfortable enough to tell them everything that was going on. They went back to the other room when the emperor came to (because prior to this he fell from sickness/exhaustion after whipping HZ, he's wicked) and presented this evidence as well as evidence that HY cheated on him with his son. Then she sort of miscarried her "face less" baby and the emperor and empress dowager had her imprisoned.
I need someone to answer this question for me because it's driving me nuts.
During the first couple episodes did you guys also get the impression that the prince new that GYX was head of the security bureau or did I just imagine that? Because the way he acted seemed like he knew...what is going on lmao.
I still don't understand why that prince wants to kill 6th prince and ML.
The 6th prince saw something he shouldn't have seen relating to the other prince trying to kill their father. The male lead runs a department that could bring him to justice/get him in major trouble before his plan works. So, he wants both of them dead so that their no obstacles to his dad dying and his taking over the throne.
