I understand that this is a romance drama, but is it really necessary to insult the female lead if she doesn't do what you want/pursue XW the way you want?
This happens a lot on MDL and it's honestly annoying. I'm glad she ends up with XW in the end because if she didn't I know for a fact a lot of you would curse the FL character as a lot of people on this forum typically do when a character doesn't make decisions or choices they would have made.
I saw somewhere that there won't be any second ml or fl for this drama. Is this true? Please yes because I don't want any unnecessary distractions lmao.

I remember when this drama was first announced and I was so excited. At the time, I had no idea it was going to be...just so...wow. And not "Wow amazing", more like "Wow wtf was that wow".
Maybe I skipped around too much but what happened to Xu Ji Rou? Did she die off-screen? Ngl to you I'm not happy with how they started the various arcs. We also don't know how DL is or the other servant who was helping LQL. We only know where they went off to. What's the point of introducing these characters to us if we don't get a nice closure to them? I'm also annoyed by the ending of the villains. They caused so much harm only to die by poison?

Tbh it's not surprising. Something switched in her after her son died. And that was the case for a lot of his wives because they realized that they meant so little to him. I mean look at how LQL reacted after her basically cause the death of her first born son. It took a long time, years in the show timeline, before she forgave him and part of her forgiving him was because of LBY helping and her wanting to avenge her child.
Side note...what happened to DL...we just haven't seen her at all since she left to be with 7th son...I'd like to know how things are going for her now that she is with him.
This is 38 episodes long...so we have to endure 38 episodes of the Empress Dowager and her family being evil. I really hope they don't change her family's ending from the novel because tbh, she deserves that.
Just saw the trailers for episode 36 and I'm annoyed. We have spent 36 episodes watching 4th brother do the most insane sinister shit and getting away with it and now he has the gall to come and try to take the prince position away from HL. I'm tired. His wife should have been killed a long time ago and he should have been put to death. They better wrap up episode 36 well because that preview has seriously pissed me off. I decided to wait for that episode to come out before I continue watching because all these shenanigans are getting annoying. And the fact the ministers are supporting him despite all the evil shit I know they know he's done? These people are wicked.
