No worries, I don't disagree.I agree with you 100%.The good thing about the Live Action was they made a lot of…
I can't really disagree with you until I watch the movie but only based on the spoilers that you and others gave, I feel like the movie's done a decent job tbh. Completely forgetting the novel is wrong and disrespecting the original author but it's also hard to adapt a novel in to a movie without changing it. So I think it's fine.
First of all, thank you for the detailed review. Now I know what to expect.
That being said, unlike you I am actually really glad that the movie didn't include a couple of things from the novels. I'm going to admit, I've always been an utsukare series fan but I never liked the novels that much. I read the novels to fill in the void of the drama.
The novels in my opinion, include some really cheesy drama that's really unnecessary. Kiyoi and Hira are different. Hira in the novel is more creepy and Kiyoi is more tsundere. In the movie, Kiyoi can actually develop as a character while in the novel he will always remain a tsundere who is unable to express his emotions and Hira will forever remain a creep while in the movie, he seems like he changes.
The Anna and Kiyoi confrontation, the Kiyoi and Hira breaking up thing , the Shitara thing, were all a little unnecessary in the novel to be honest. I don't need to sympathise with Shitara to understand his parallel to Hira. Anna realizing that Kiyoi is sensitive doesn't really go anywhere. Hira and Kiyoi breaking up over a stupid misunderstanding sfter all the development they both had feels wrong and stupid
I'm sorry and I know you would disagree but I'm glad they didn't really go with the novel and decided to adapt their own (in my opinion better) version of the original novel.
Y'all I just finished watching the usual night which is a fake documentary that has Yusei Yagi (Kiyoi) and his boy band group members in it. It also has bl
I have social anxiety myself & realize how hard it can be on a person. But the least they could’ve done was…
I can't respect to opinions when it involves irl people and real issues. Should I start respecting misogyny as well?
Hating Hira for his lack of confidence upsets me but I'm still fine with it as long as people understand that having self esteem issues isn't pitiful and don't hate on irl people the way they do with Hira

First of all, there are several scenes in both season 1 and 2 where Hira shows his more "confident" side. When he fought Shirota, when he confessed to Kiyoi the first time, when he kissed Kiyoi in the last episode of both seasons and so on.
Second of all, Hira is not pitiful. You are literally the first and only person I've ever seen to call Hira pitiful. Maybe it's a you problem? Anxiety and self esteem issues are never pitiful.
Third of all, you are claiming that you know how anxiety works but also seem desperate for a character like Hira with clear anxiety and self esteem issues to show some "confidence" lol. Not having enough confidence is the main point my friend. I don't think I understand what you are implying
The fact that some people have zero empathy with Hira who is very realistic with his self confidence issues due to bullying and is unable to just suddenly change pisses me off. I just hope they don't treat irl people with anxiety the same way
So why u here then if u find s1 boring u shouldnt look at s2
I think you shouldn't watch the movie. You clearly have made up your mind about their dynamic and I don't see how the movie will suddenly change your mind after 10 episodes you've watched
This is season 1: https://kisskh.at/712695-utsukushii-kare
This is season 2: https://kisskh.at/746911-utsukushii-kare-season-2
And your welcome :)
The story is simply about two insecure and flawed people finding each other and learning how to love each other and grow.
You've probably only watched the first season of utsukushii kare which is this one : https://kisskh.at/712695-utsukushii-kare
I'm going to watch this and Yusei's drama together because I can't get over how much I love my boys
Thanks for the review, really appreciate it ❤
