what about watching the drama with OPEN EYES ??? because whatever you are saying about Xie Wei or trying to portray him is not making sense

Am I the only one who is confused whether to laugh out loud seeing how Xie Wei took away those walnutz cake from that poor girl or to cry over Xie Wei's suffering and pain during his convo with YL's father .

Zhang Linghe stop being so good portraying emotions that I get hard time to think whether you did better showing Xie Wei's pettiness or better showing Xie Juan's emotional side.

actually most of costumes dramas are female centric. I got your point but he is too new in this industry so it is hard to get those very few male centric dramas. Those are mostly done by senior male actors or actors with more experience. He may need to wait few more years to get those absolutely male centric dramas.
But one thing is satisfying, even tho few of his dramas are based on female centric novel but his characters has their individually and own storyline. for example this drama where 2ML & 3ML character resolve around FL but his character Xie Wei has his own individually and purpose & contribution in story building apart from only be the FL's love interest. Same goes for the current drama he is filming.
Regarding modern drama, its his agency's fault. He is willing to work in modern genre(and I am dying to see him as he did tremendous job in Flourish In Time).Hope his agency will stop pushing him into costume genre.

Someone who made debut in 2020 and having no technical acting background, this guy is surprising me with every performance of him. The way he is taking up challenges of playing different shades of characters at such short time, so proud of you. He is proving he is not only a pretty face but also a talented & brave actor who doesn't typecast himself in same kind of roles.

wonder where were his "backers" when he has not any drama air for a whole year.
Guy got two drama which is pretty common trend in cdrama of releasing two dramas of same actor back to back to cash the hype but if it is ZLH that must be bc of backers.

yes absolutely right and his "backing" is he is hardworking, dedicated, naturally talented and attractive. He has been working continuously on himself, filming drama without taking break not for people like you to accuse.
and about "over exposure" for your kind information till now he has not even actively participated in any of his dramas promotion.
in cent shortest route to fame is cp promotion and I am sure YOU are aware of it and he has not done cp promotion for any of his drama till now. whatever he has achieved till now with his hardwork and not using any short cut.
In LBFAD he had mare 5 mins screentime even in few episode not even that and with that small time he attracted so many people. For MJTY he never show off his male lead status . We almost got no promotion for him. So I don't know which "over exposure" you are talking about.
For FSM & BEITD he has only guest role and its not his fault that he can attract people with his talent.

You can wait for any XYZ for this drama but don't accuse or belittle other's work. There are many who are interested in this drama only for ZLH including me

before accusing other actors and belittling their success stating that they got it for backers , remember others also can accuse your fav the same . If you will respect other artists their fans will also respect yours

one of the biggest highlight of this drama its fighting scenes. All are so well executed and performed by the actors

Just want to share few things
1. This drama is from MLC director but thre is difference in budget. It is not a high budget drama like MLC so we should not expect or compare the production quality between two dramas. That's quite unfair. To be honest Tiger Crane's production is actually surprising me . It is much better than I thought

2. This drama was filmed in Jan,2022 and finished filming in May,2022. So You see the drama is in iqiyi jail for a long time. So you may find some difference in actor's appearance.

3. Regarding dubbing, dubbing of this drama was finished long back last year itself and ZLH's voice is not dubbed by himself. From SOKP, he has dubbed all his dramas himself. This drama is from pre-sokp time
