Am I the only one who keeps re-watching episode 17? The first time I watched it I cried almost the whole way through.…
I just want to point out the fading light when Doek Im acknowledged SAN’s suffering and how much responsibility he bears for all the children of the nation. In previous scenes, the SUN had always been prominent, but in this scene it is setting and casting shadows on our two MLs.
Am I the only one who keeps re-watching episode 17? The first time I watched it I cried almost the whole way through. Between my snot, tears, and hiccups I barely was able to focus. Now, after a couple of days have passed, I find myself watching certain scenes in a new light. Once this drama fully settles in my mind, I will enjoy watching all the episodes again because the new found depth from some of the scenes/settings/actors resonates. This is a moving drama full of love, sacrifice, duty, and respect. It was not perfect, but it’s still so good it deserves recognition.
Kudos TRS cast and crew! This is a beautiful drama that will stand the test of time.
I was thinking the same and I can most definitely feel the hype, but curious why we only have about 14k watchers…
But people stream illegally and they watch those numbers too. I’d like to see some rough numbers of illegal DLs like GoT. Not everyone had HBO or the INTL equivalent, but everyone saw the show. Hence on Netflix you have Witcher, and WoT on Prime Amazon.

My two cents…. Netflix is aware of Viki and they are actively competing against Hulu (Disney+) and Apple for the best K-drama and K-actors. Never fear netizens….just because it’s not on Netflix doesn’t mean those folks are not watching. Trust me….they are!
Good start for the first ~5 episodes or so, then lagged I think until about 12 or 13. Then the last episodes finally…
Strangely….Scarlet Moon Heart is incognito for most streamers, but it’s soooooo great! I mean, KOCOWA released YiSan to Viki, but Moon Scarlet is still no where to be found. 🤔
I am still coming to this board every day. I am having a hard time letting this show go, even though it’s over. I need a SE Blu-ray with director cuts, extended episodes, and all deleted scenes. Plus, I want the costume designer to speak on their talents. Actually, I probably will not leave this board until those goals are achieved. The military mind in me is now focused on this outcome.
I think was a mistake in direction and story telling, I still don’t know why Koreans love YiSan? Something was…
As I said in a previous post, in the U.S. shows that have an uncertain fate are aired during the holidays. I don't know if that is the case in Korea, but it is for the U.S. I believe no expected this show to do well, and that's a shame because they missed an opportunity to really showcase a wonderful cast and crew.

I'm not sure this drama was served by having both a book version in "The Red Sleeve Cuff" and "YiSan" the 77-episode drama for comparison. I think because there were two versions, people are looking for one that effectively merges both personas without being so distinct in versions and tone.

Lot of good info...that I didn't get from his drama. I'm not saying focusing on his love life was a bad idea, but it didn't rightly connect to his actual life. That's probably my only real complaint about TRS. The drama added more intrigued to his CP life and less to this Kingly life, so there is a dissonance.
So beautiful…..
