Which is why I am not a real fan of historical C or K dramas. Moon Embracing the Sun is the only K-drama I like, and since I don't like gender bender romances in any format then Mr. Queen will never be for me. Yet, I really liked some aspects of Moon Embracing the Sun, again, I'm not into tragedy, I like a happy ending. I would not be watching TRS if wasn't somewhat factual. I genuinely despise tragedy romances. They're mainly maudlin and over-dramatic tripe. I don't watch C-dramas. Though, I've been valiantly trying to finish the General's Lady, but that's too stupid and I barely know what going on. I'm probably going to drop it soon. I guess what I am saying is I just want a good love story with one man and one woman.

What in the hell is up with that finger-snap-thingy? I keep seeing it and...I'm not sure what it is, or what it is being done, or what it even means???? I've seen some gifs with hearts coming out of the finger, but is that what it's supposed to mean? A heart to you?????

I am watching Jang Ok Jung. I'm currently on episode 8...and it's just crazy and too much. I don't feel any connection between the ML and FL. It's sad because the ML is a really good actor, but I just can't buy this love story. I can't buy it and I'm thankful I didn't actually "buy" it and I'm just renting via Viki.
I live breathe and eat romance books..... I know the formulas and even in a book setting I've rarely seen a harem setting romance that works.
I think my issue is you can't sell a top notch romance with a full size harem where the ML is actively sleeping with the other females. I don't think it will work and I've never seen a format of the genre that could make it work. NOT ONCE!
